IF THE ROMAN CHURCH IS A WILDERNESS - THEN I JUST HAVE AN ALLOTMENT.

IF THE ROMAN CHURCH IS A WILDERNESS  - THEN I JUST HAVE AN ALLOTMENT

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC INSTITUTION IS A DRY OLD WILDERNESS.

THE FAMILY OF GOD HAS ALWAYS AND CONTINUES TO BE A "GARDEN OF EDEN". THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH AS A SPIRITUAL ENTITY IS PART OF THAT FAMILY OF GOD. AND I STRESS ONLY "PART". BECAUSE THE WHOLE OF CREATION IS THE TRUE FAMILY OF GOD. THAT SPIRITUAL ENTITY HAS ALWAYS BEEN BEAUTIFUL, CONTINUES TO BEAUTIFUL AND WILL ALWAYS BE BEAUTIFUL HERE ON EARTH AND LATER IN HEAVEN EVEN MORE PERFECTLY BEAUTIFUL.

BUT THE ROMAN CATHOLIC INSTITUTION HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FAMILY OF GOD. IT IS A CANCEROUS GROWTH THAT HAS DEVELOPED ON THE VERY OUTER SKIN OF THE FAMILY OF GOD.

IT IS A MAN MADE INSTITUTION CREATED OUT OF THE DECAYING FLESH OF THE HISTORICAL ROMAN EMPIRE. CONSTANTINE USED PEOPLE IN THE EARLY CHURCH AND VERY UNWISE PEOPLE IN THE EARLY CHURCH ALLOWED THEMSELVES TO BE USED - FOR WHAT THEY COULD GET OUT OF IT. THEY MAY EVEN HAVE THOUGHT THEY WERE DOING RIGHT? IN HINDSIGHT THEY BETRAYED THEIR CHRIST GIVEN BIRTHRIGHT.

AND FROM THAT TIME THE CHRIST FOUNDED CHURCH BECAME THE ROMAN EMPIRE MK 11.  THE POPES BECAME THE NEW EMPERORS. THE BISHOPS BECAME THE NEW ROMAN GOVERNORS. THE PRIESTS BECAME THE ROMAN TAX COLLECTORS.

OF COURSE RIGHT THROUGH THE 2000 YEAR HISTORY OF THE CHURCH THERE HAVE BEEN GOOD AND SAINTLY MEN AND WOMEN - THE MILLIONS OF ORDINARY GOOD CHRISTIANS WHO HAVE LIVED AND PEOPLE LIKE SAINT FRANCIS OF ASISSI. BUT THEY COULD NEVER PENETRATE AND ERADICATE THE DEEP MAN MADE HELL INSPIRED EVIL THAT HAD TAKEN HOLD OF THE HEART OF THE CHURCH.

AND SO TODAY WE HAVE THE ROMAN CATHOLIC INSTITUTION WHICH IS A MASSIVE WILDERNESS.

IT IS RUN BY "DRY OLD MEN" AND BY DRY YOUNG MEN WHO WILL EVENTUALLY EVOLVE INTO A NEW GENERATION OF "DRY OLD MEN".

THESE DRY OLD MEN ARE ANTI-LIFE; ANTI-PLEASURE; ANTI-LOVE; ANTI-WOMAN; ANTI-BODY; ANTI-SEX.

THESE DRY OLD MEN WANT US TO LIVE BY THEIR DRY OLD CANON LAW INSTEAD OF BY THE NOURISHING FOUNTAIN OF FRESH WATER THAT SPRINGS FROM THE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.

INSTEAD OF CALLING US TO LIVE OUT THE DOUBLE COMMANDMENT OF JESUS CHRIST - LOVE GOD - LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR AS YOURSELF - THEY WANT TO TO GET LOST IN A MAZE MADE OF DOCTRINES AND TEACHINGS. AS JESUS SAID TO MARTHA: "Martha, Martha; you fret and worry about so many things. Yet only one thing is necessary. It is Mary who has chosen the better part"

  1. If the Church of Rome has become a wilderness its because the gardeners have not looked after the crops properly.

  2. "God anticipates us again and again in unexpected ways," Francis I said. "He does not cease to search for us, to raise us up as often as we might need. He does not abandon the lost sheep in the WILDERNESS into which it had strayed. God does not allow himself to be confounded by our sin. Again and again he begins afresh with us".

To the judicious and fair-minded outsider it has been clear for years that the upper reaches of the Roman church contained many "lost sheep in the wilderness", men who had communed and supported the unspeakably brutal abuse and oppression by religious the world over, even denying and hiding the facts for years - who knows it could be centuries, the files are locked up in the Vatican!

Not only did the curia know of thousands of abuse cases, often knowing the extreme details of these crimes, the laundries in Ireland, but similar institutions all over the world and selling off their orphan children to the highest bidder, they also silenced bishops and many priests.

Not only is the Roman Institution a wilderness, it is a wilderness of serious sin, abuse and criminality!

  4. When any church undertakes to say to its subjects, This you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know, the end result is tyranny and oppression no matter how holy the motives.

  6. Evil prospers when good men say nothing. Many good men in the church say nothing out of fear. They are afraid to speak out in case the bishop or the chief priests take umbridge and a prospering clerical career is blocked (Fr A N Other to be cc Rathlin Island - the usual type of move in D & C ) Many good men and women in the laity fear speaking out in case their card is marked and they or a member of their family fails to get that teaching post or that promotion within the maintained sector.

  7. Are the popes infallible in matters of morals - what a wilderness!

“The inquisition?” The dictionary defined it this way:

“A court appointed by the Roman Catholic Church to discover heresy, and to punish heretics.”

To punish heretics is putting it mildly. The inquisition lasted for 300 years. It extended throughout Europe, Africa, and the Americas. The violence was so brutal that even Catholic historians had to admit that many of the popes were guilty of the worst kind of atrocities.

Professor Dollinger, a Roman Church historian wrote a book entitled, “The Pope and the Council” published in the late 19th century,

“…the initiation and the carrying out of this new principle (speaking of the inquisition), must be ascribed to the popes alone … it was the popes who compelled the bishops and the priests to condemn the heterodox to torture, confiscation of their goods, imprisonment and death.”

From 1200 to 1500 the long series of Papal ordinances on the Inquisition, ever-increasing in severity and cruelty … runs on without a break… by the absolute dictation of the popes, and the notion of their infallibility. The inquisition contradicted the simplest principles of Christian Justice and would have been rejected with universal horror by the first century church.”

“Jesuit priest Peter de Rosa in his book ‘Vicars of Christ,’ documented the fact that many of the popes down throughout history engaged in wide-spread corruption including murder, rape and extortion on a grand scale.”

DeRosa went on to say that pope John Paul II,

”…knows the church was responsible for persecuting the Jews, for the inquisition, for slaughtering heretics, and for reintroducing torture into Europe as part of the judicial process. But he has to be careful. The doctrines responsible for those terrible things still underpin his positions.”

My point in telling you all this is to remind you that Roman doctrine teaches that the popes speak without error on matters of morals. And that these men who were responsible for the some of the worst atrocities in the history of the human race (and are presently overseeing universal crimes) are to this day referred to in Roman circles “Vicars of Christ,” and successors to the Apostles.

    Dave Hunt writes:

“Even if the popes had all been paragons of virtue, it would still be a mockery to claim that they represent an unbroken chain of “apostolic success on” back to Peter. It was long the custom for the popes to be voted in by the populace of Rome, which had its own selfish reasons ‘date over another. Such a vote could hardly be called “apostolic succession.”

“According to the second Vatican council, the bishops,

”…have by divine institution taken the place of the apostles… and whoever listens to them is listening to Christ and whoever despises them despises Christ and Him who sent Christ.”

So, what the Vatican is saying is, if you disagree with a Bishop of the Roman church you disagree with God Himself! Have you ever heard of Bishop Bernard Law? Literally thousands of articles have appeared in newspapers all across the world (not to mention any Irish Bishop). This is NOT an isolated incident. Sexually abusing children has been an epidemic in the Roman church for centuries! In the last 10 years alone more than 3,500 Roman Catholic priests have been charged with sexually abusing young men and boys. This is just one example of the thousands that are typical of the Catholic church. It is also common knowledge to those who are interested in this kind of thing, that Catholic seminaries are filled with homosexual activity to hypocritical proportions! See Cardinal Dolans findings into the Irish College, some of these findings have been made public, the greater proportion presented to the pope!

    Reform now please!!!!

  8. The Apostles were men that were hand picked by the Lord Jesus Christ and were empowered to raise the dead, heal disease, and cast out demons. In 2 Cor 11:3-15 the Bible says,

“But I am afraid, lest as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds should be led astray from the simplicity and purity (of devotion) to Christ. For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear (this) beautifully.”

Does the pope speak infallibly? A thousand times, no! Christ alone is perfect, Christ alone is infallible! Ultimately, the Roman Catholic Church claims that salvation is exclusive to those who submit to the authority of the pope. In 1302 in his papal bull “Unam Sanctam” pope Boniface the VIII infallibly declared:

“Extra ecclesiam nulla salus” (outside the church there is no salvation!)

Some 1300 years before the pope made his infallible decree the Spirit of God said:

”And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.”

One of the pre-eminent cries in the church today is for unity. That was the same thing the Roman Church used in its attempt to stop the reformation. As if genuine Christian faith is synonymous with believing anything. When Jesus said: “You will know them by their fruit,” that fruit includes sound doctrine.

  9. It is a matter of record that former Pope Benedict (formerly Cardinal Thomas Ratzinger) systematically covered up thousands of Catholic child abuse cases. He will live in the Vatican after he resigned, providing him immunity from all attempts to prosecute him! = Wilderness!

“The Pope played a leading role in a systematic cover-up of child sex abuse by Roman Catholic priests, according to a shocking documentary produced by the BBC.

“In 2001, while he was a cardinal, he issued a secret Vatican edict to Catholic bishops all over the world, instructing them to put the Church’s interests ahead of child safety.

“The document recommended that rather than reporting sexual abuse to the relevant legal authorities, bishops should encourage the victim, witnesses and perpetrator not to talk about it. And, to keep victims quiet, it threatened that if they repeat the allegations they would be excommunicated.
“The program also accuses the Catholic Church (and specifically Cardinal Ratzinger) of knowingly harbouring pedophile clergymen.

A notorious 1962 Vatican document 'Crimen Sollicitationis' came with instructions that bishops had to keep it locked in a safe at all times - legal & sinful wilderness!

“It reveals that priests accused of child abuse are generally not struck off or arrested but simply moved to another parish, often to reoffend. It gives examples of hush-funds being used to silence the victims.

“Before being elected as Pope Benedict XVI, the pontiff was Cardinal Thomas Ratzinger who had, for 24 years, been the head of the powerful Congregation of the Doctrine of The Faith, the department of the Roman Catholic Church charged with promoting Catholic teachings on morals and matters of faith.”

Article from The London Evening Standard 30 September 2006

“The monies that have been paid to victims of literally thousands of former sexually abused children by Catholic priests world-wide has been estimated to be as high as 3 billion dollars. (That is only counting up to 2005) Cardinal Doal of New York was caught moving 60 billion dollars a month ago into a 'graveyard' fund, so that the new wave of victims could not be paid!

Part of the reason for this phenomena among Roman Catholic priests is its clearly unbiblical teaching that priests are forbidden to marry. It is common knowledge that Roman Catholic seminaries are hotbeds of homosexuality and sexual misconduct - these houses of formation are at sexual crisis point, many of them just having to close rather than face up to the reality!

This is only the tip of the iceberg concerning the problems of the Roman Wilderness.
