JOHN PAUL 11 WAS NO SAINT

JOHN PAUL 11 WAS NO SAINT

POPE FRANCIS WILL MAKE ONE OF THE BIGGEST MISTAKES OF HIS PAPACY IF HE GOES AHEAD WITH MAKING POPE JOHN PAUL 11 A SAINT.

JOHN PAUL 11 WAS NO SAINT. HE WAS AN ARROGANT POLISH CATHOLIC AND A BULLY AND ONE OF THE PRINCIPLE ARCHITECTS OF THE "COVER UP" OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH'S SEXUAL ABUSE SCANDAL.

A PRIME EXAMPLE OF HIS ARROGANCE WAS WHEN HE VISITED NICARAGUA AS POPE AND ON THE AIRPORT TARMAC PUBLICLY REPRIMANDED - WITH FINGER-WAVING - ONE OF THE GOVERNMENT MINISTERS - ERNESTO CARDENAL - WHO JUST HAPPENED TO BE A PRIEST.

HOW DARE A VISITOR TO A COUNTRY REPRIMAND A GOVERNMENT MINISTER IN FRONT OF MILLIONS.

BUT JOHN PAUL THOUGHT HE WAS "GOD" AND HAD THE RIGHT TO REPRIMAND ANYONE HE CHOSE. IF I WERE ERNESTO CARDENAL I WOULD HAVE TOLD HIM IN POLISH TO F*** OFF.

JOHN PAUL CONDEMNED THE LIBERATION THEOLOGY MOVEMENT IN SOUTH AMERICA - THE ATTEMPT BY SOUTH AMERICAN PEOPLE, PRIESTS AND THEOLOGIANS TO MARRY THEIR FAITH TO JUSTICE AND EVERYDAY LIVING.

BUT JOHN PAUL WAS A HYPOCRITE - AS HE WAS UP TO HIS EYES IN POLISH AND INTERNATIONAL POLITICS.

HE HAD THE BEST SIGN EVER THAT YOU ARE A HYPOCRITE - HE HAD ONE RULE FOR HIMSELF AND ANOTHER RULE FOR EVERYONE ELSE.

THE MARCIEL SCANDAL:

THEN THERE WAS JOHN PAUL AND THE FATHER MARCIEL SCANDAL.

FATHER MARCIEL WAS THE FOUNDER OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CULT - THE LEGIONARIES OF CHRIST.

MARCIEL SEXUALLY ABUSED HUNDREDS OF STUDENT PRIESTS AND YOUNG PRIESTS.

HE HAD CHILDREN WITH SEVERAL WOMEN.

HE WAS A KNOWN DRUG ADDICT.

BUT TO THE BITTER END JOHN PAUL PROTECTED MARCIEL. WHY? BECAUSE MARCIEL GAVE THE VATICAN MILLION OF DOLLARS EVERY YEARS AND ALSO GAVE JOHN PAUL MILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO SEND TO HIS BELOVED POLAND.

JOHN PAUL WAS QUITE HAPPY TO SACRIFICE CHILDREN AND STUDENT PRIESTS TO MARCIEL'S LUSTS - AS LONG AS THE DOLLARS KEPT ROLLING IN.

THE RATZINGER SCANDAL:

JOHN PAUL APPOINTED CARDINAL JOSEPH RATZINGER AS HIS "INQUISITOR-IN-CHIEF. HE PUT HIM IN CHARGE OF THE SO CALLED CONGREGATION FOR THE DOCTRINE OF THE FAITH. RATZINGER, UNDER JOHN PAUL'S BIDDING - USED HIS OFFICE TO CRUCIFY THEOLOGIANS ALL OVER THE WORLD FOR DOING THEIR JOB - THEOLOGISING.
RATZINGER

WHILE JOHN PAUL FLEW AROUND THE WORLD PRESENTING HIMSELF AS A CELEB POPE, RATZINGER SPEND HIS DAYS AND NIGHTS PLANNING THE DOWNFALL OF GOOD PRIESTS AND THEOLOGIANS.

THE LATTER YEARS

INSTEAD OF RESIGNING WHEN HE GOT ILL JOHN PAUL 11 CLUNG ON TO HIS POWER UNTIL THE BITTER END.

THE HOLY JOES AND HOLS MARYS SAY THAT THIS WAS TO GIVE AN EXAMPLE OF FAITH IN SUFFERING.

I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT. JOHN PAUL WAS POWER HUNGRY TO THE END.

IF HE WAS A SAINT HE WOULD HAVE BEEN THINKING OF THE NEEDS OF THE CHURCH AND NOT FOCUSING ON HIMSELF.
------------------------

JOHN PAUL 11 ID DEAD. GOD HAD JUDGED HIM. HE IS WHERE EVER GOD HAS SENT HIM.

BUT A SAINT IS SOMEONE WHO CAN BE HELD UP BEFORE THE WORLD AND CHRISTIANS AS A MODEL FOR CHRISTIAN LIVING.

JOHN PAUL 11 A MODEL FOR CHRISTIAN LIVING?

I DO NOT THINK SO.

HOW IS ARROGANCE?

HANGING ON TO POWER?

COVERING UP CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE?

PROTECTING SERIAL PAEDOPHILE PRIESTS?

PRESIDING OVER INQUISITIONS?

A MODEL FOR CHRISTIAN LIVING?

GOD IS OBVIOUSLY A LOT WISER AND MORE COMPASSIONATE THAN I AM.

IF I WAS LETTING JOHN PAUL 11 INTO HEAVEN AT ALL - I'D BE PUTTING HIM IN CHARGE OF REPLACING THE TOILET PAPER IN HEAVEN'S WASH ROOMS FOR AT LEAST 10,000 YEARS.

  1. Believers aren't in control at the Vatican.

Clealy it is run by self-serving autocratic Italian clerics who hate women and innocent children.

  2. It is most fortunate that the Church of England, as the single real proper Catholic Church in England, was reformed externally and internally by a series of events and happenings in the 16th. Century. Had things been otherwise, it would be joining in the race to declare sainthoods willy-nilly, and have to compete with the RCC and the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, both of which are filling the firmament to overflowing.

The C of E, pragmatically and sensibly, does not exercise it own ancient rights to beatify and canonise people on a massive scale, but prefers to put them all into one bag. To that effect, it has made 4 May a Feast Day to remember "The Martyrs and Saints of the Reformation Era",adding many of its own such as Cranmer, Latimer and Ridley (and a few more from the Tudor and Stuart periods of history), plus extending that to commemorate the 40 + 85 new English saints and martyrs of RC beliefs of those troubled times, whose status within the RCC has been declared as such by Popes Leo XIII, a couple of Pauls, and John Paul II.

If the C of E were to really dig its heels in, and prepare a lightning strike of its own to make Rome tremble, it could propose and declare the sainthood of King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I. The former on the grounds of his learned treatise written in Latin against Lutherism, which defended the traditional and essential Catholic beliefs as those had existed in earlier times (for which even the ruling Pope of that era awarded him the title of "Fidei Defensor"), whilst eliminating the many superstitious practices amd falsehoods which had crept in subsequently. The other case would be for her good treatment of RCs during her reign, except when the radical RC extremist elements plotted to kill or overthrow her.

I don't pray to saints, but if I were to request the help, by supplication, to some of the Anglican saints of the Reformation Era, e.g. Archbishops Cranmer, Laud, and other ordained episcopal persons in good standing, they might intervene on my behalf to produce a miracle. Then what would I need to do, to have that miracle formally recognised as such by the Anglican authorities and hierarchy ?. None of the Protestant Churches would take me very seriously at all........

  3. In the words of Abraham Lincoln...

You can fool some of the people all of the time; you can fool all of the people some of the time.

But you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

The Catholic church, and nonsense like "miracles" have been pulled on vast numbers of people for many, many years.

    But
there will come a time, and I don't think it's all that far away, when
MOST people in the world will see the absolute nonsense that is this
    kind of thing.

Religious "leaders" like the "pope" should have no
say whatsoever in anyone's affairs. They are con men who have been
allowed on to the world stage for much, much too long.

  4. Here’s Pope John Paul II’s 2nd miracle – he made a billion people think that organised child rape, in God’s name, was ok with God.

Sick sick people the vatican and us little Catholics who just follow!!

  5. It is tragic and unfair that the Vatican fails to account for Pandeism in accrediting miracles to Popes and martyrs for Sainthood. Pandeism is a branch of the theological theory of Deism which reconciles to it elements of Pantheism, holding that a reasoned examination of our Universe will reveal that it is most probable that ours is a created Universe, and that our Creator created by actually becoming our Universe, most likely so that it could share in the existence of the life which this Universe is designed to eventually generate.

Pandeism does not contravene anything known to science, as it holds that scientific discovery simply reveals the mechanisms of our Creator (be they the Big Bang, gravity, evolution, quantum spookiness, etc.). More importantly, Pandeism fully accounts for ALL purported miracles, revelations, prophecies, scriptures, etc., as the predictable (though demonstrably nonuniversal) experiences of humans touching that part of the underlying ultimate which is within themselves, and simply miscomprehending it as something external acting upon them. Some religions have potentially pandeistic elements; for example, it is consistent with the revelation of Vishnu in the Bhagavad Gita.

And so Pandeism is a supercessory theological theory, as it accounts for all that is claimed in both science and religion with the fewest number of assumptions -- assuming only that ours is a created Universe; and that it's Creator had the power, intelligence, and motivation to create our Universe by becoming our Universe.

  6. If any pope in modern times deserves sainthood, it's John XXIII. As a priest in Turkey during WWII he sent baptismal certificate forms to priests all over eastern Europe so they could be filled in with the names of Jews threatened by he holocaust. As pope he convened Vatican II, bringing some much-needed reform into the Church, which rankled and still rankles the conservatives.

  7. Really? How many pedophiles in the priesthood does it take to qualify for sainthood? It is bad enough that religious leaders are put on pedestals and regarded as somehow wiser or smarter than other mortals, but to claim some supernatural aura for them - such as "sainthood" - is ridiculous.

  8. esus Christ and the Disciples worked their miracles while still alive. The Catholic Church have turned themselves into a farce by awarding Sainthoods to many who could not.

Billy - Catholic in some things and Protestant in others.

  9. It is little wonder that our Church is an irrelevance to so many. They expect people to actually believe this drivel?

Well, it does need a modicum of intelligence to understand why the Church canonises her faithful members.

A just reward for being loyal to the Church and not speaking out - if that is a saint count me out!!

I am loyal to my conscience and a follower of Jesus, right and wrong are important values, clearly not to be a saint, awful stuff defended by awful human beings.

  10. Those that really have performed 'miracles' are the thousands of Roman Catholic priests who have abused children and not been sent to justice.

Spiritualty has to be demonstrated by behaviour and John Paul was well educated in how to ignore reality in search of the impossible. The fact is the RC Church is guilty of encouraging more child abuse (through impossible demands on clergy and inbuilt sexual guilt) more child poverty by refusing ignorant people who 'believe' the use of contraception). More disease (by refusing condoms to aids suffers) and promoting the spread of sexual diseases.

In short the RC church and the pope in question are a disgrace to humanity promoting self importance like sainthood above responsibility for those that follow them and know no better.

I disagree with LOL its far to serious for that. These people like Muslim terrorists need to be confronted with their deeds.

    Religion poisons everything. EVERYTHING.

  11. Strictly speaking, no one is "made" a saint by the Catholic Church. He or she makes himself/herself a saint by the goodness of their life-style. The Church merely affirms that the person's sanctity has been demonstrated by God's intervention in someone's serious illness by the saint's intercession on their behalf.

Regrettably, there are some persons on this blog who are not sufficiently educated in spiritual matters to appreciate the significance of that observable fact. Instead, they resort to puerile drivel in an attempt to discredit the authority of the Church to pronounce on such a matter. The Church knows better than they do, but they don't like to admit it.

John Paul II pray for them.

  14. I'm not going to get into the debate as to the virtues or otherwise of John Paul 2 although I was never a great fan. He had however a big fan base worldwide and as the numbers of practicing catholics in Europe is plummeting and there are no signs of a BVM visitation anytime soon and no Padre Pio on the go the Vatican has found a way of keeping those left interested. Make John Paul 2 a saint. That's a no brainer. It's a wonder the Vatican hasn't told us that when they opened his casket that he has scratched Poland for Ever inside the lid. Maybe I'm speaking too soon

Apparently means Fuck Off in Polish, no idea how it would be spoken.

My Polish is limited to kawa, meaning coffee and Djane DOH-brayh, means hello, slainte or whataboutye

leart it all from the two Polish guys that converted our attic, really nice guys, great workers..

John Paul ii would never have been two, were it not for a much more modest man whose mistakes included asking himself what would Jesus do, offering to melt the chalice gold to feed the poor - he can blame his atheist father there.

You want a saint? Look no further.

As for II, you can steal his name, but beyond that, there is little to compare.

  16. Being a student at the Irish College 1981-1987 gave me the opportunity of being an acolyte & deacon at some ceremonies where JP 2 was the main celebrant. There were a number of M C's master of ceremonies who stage managed the events. Being around them was like being back stage at the apollo. Stand here, follow me etc etc. As for JP himself he was the main man & I'm sure he was aware of the spiritual signifance of what he was doing. Afterwards there was the quick introductions & customary pic wit popey. In these quick meetings I Found JP to be bland. The one time he did come accross as interested was when after being made a deacon I introduced him to my mother & aunt. My aunt essie was housekeeper to Pat Collins in castlerea for many years. By the way I met Mother Teresa once. I said that I was honoured to meet her. She muttered something like mmm. These aloof people are sometimes strange said me to meself. Sean

  17. Well now. It's keep the keep it Simple man. Boy oh boy. What a night for the theology snobs. Sarah, sweetheart, you really do need to get out more often into the fresh air and if you can please take the faithful catholic Mary with you. I'm gonna have my nightly chat with my God shortly. I think he will be uncontrollable with laughter when I tell him about some of these posts. Mary and Sarah. Forget all that bullshit. Be good to yourselves, help others and don't hurt them, love God and yourself. Be happy and chat to God. Get rid of the intellectualising. There was very little of that sort of thing in the baron simplicity and poverty of the stable in Bethlehem. Keep it simple !! Nite

  18. Mary, the faithful catholic tells us that there are people on here who are not "sufficiently educated in spiritual matters". Is such an education a pre- requisite for getting into heaven? Perhaps Mary could correct me if I'm wrong but was there a mention of the need to have that type of education in the 10 Commandments or the Beatitudes. I would hate to think that a shortfall in my education in these things would preclude me from entering the communion of saints.. Mary will you take a wee bit of advice from a philistine in such matters- Keep it Simple !! Leads to a happier, less complicated life.
