MURDER OF POPE JOHN PAUL 1 - NEW DEVELOPMENTS

MURDER OF POPE JOHN PAUL 1 - NEW DEVELOPMENTS

ON THE 20TH OF THIS MONTH IT WILL BE 35 YEARS SINCE POPE JOHN PAUL 1 WAS MURDERED IN THE VATICAN.

IN RECENT TIMES THERE HAVE BEEN STARTLING NEW DEVELOPMENTS ABOUT THE MURDER.

A PRIEST FRIEND OF MINE RECENTLY HAD DINNER IN ROME WITH A HIGH RANKING CURIA OFFICIAL AND THAT OFFICIAL TOLD THE FOLLOWING STORY:

"I WAS ONE OF THE ONES THAT THOUGHT THAT THE WHOLE THING OF JOHN PAUL 1 BEING MURDERED WAS NONSENSE. THEN I HEARD SOMETHING THAT MADE ME RE-THINK THE WHOLE MATTER. I NOW BELIEVE THAT JOHN PAUL WAS MURDERED.

THE GREAT THEOLOGIAN HANS UR VON BALTHASAR WAS THE SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR TO A WELL RESPECTED CATHOLIC MYSTIC WHO WAS ALSO A MEDICAL DOCTOR - ADRIENNE VON SPEYR.
VON BALTHASAR
BALTHASAR WAS ALSO THE SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR OF JOSEPH RATZINGER- POPE BENEDICT.

ADRIENNE VON SPEYR
VON SPEYR WHO HAD MYSTICAL EXPERIENCES DIED IN 1967. BUT BEFORE SHE DIED SHE TOLD VON BALTHASAR HER STORY:

"I HAD A DREAM LAST NIGHT. I WAS IN THE POPE'S BEDROOM IN THE VATICAN AND THE POPE WAS IN BED READING. I SAW TWO TALL MEN ENTERING THE ROOM. ONE HELD THE POPE DOWN AND THE OTHER INJECTED SOMETHING INTO THE POPE AND HE DIED.

BUT THESE MEN DID NOT ENTER THE POPE'S BEDROOM BY THE ONLY DOOR IN THE ROOM BUT FROM A DIFFERENT DIRECTION".

VON SPEYR DIED IN 1967 BUT LATER VON BALTHASAR TOLD THE STORY TO HIS OTHER DIRECTEE JOSEPH RATZINGER.

WHEN POPE JOHN PAUL 11 WAS SHOT IN ST PETER'S SQUARE IN ROME THE VATICAN DECIDED TO HAVE A TOTAL REVIEW OF PAPAL SECURITY. THEY HAD THE HELP OF THE AMERICAN CIA.

THE CIA CONDUCTED A THOROUGH SEARCH OF THE PAPAL APARTMENTS WITH HIGH TECH EQUIPMENT. DURING THIS SEARCH THE CIA FOUND A SECRET DOOR IN THE POPE'S BEDROOM THAT WAS CONCEALED BY FLOCK WALLPAPER AND WOODEN PANELLING.

THIS DOOR WAS IN THE EXACT PLACE THAT VON SPEYR HAD SAID THAT THE TWO MEN HAD ENTERED THE ROOM TO MURDER JOHN PAUL 1.

AFTER HEARING THIS STORY MY PRIEST'S FRIEND, THE SENIOR CURIAL OFFICIAL BELIEVED THAT JOHN PAUL 1 HAD BEEN MURDERED. VON BALTHASAR ALSO BELIEVED IT - AND APPARENTLY SO DID BENEDICT.

TRUTH IS STRANGER THAN FICTION

  1. This is interesting Pat and though I have read a couple of books on the murder of this man I had never heard that before. Amazing the lengths the forces of evil will go to protect themselves. The list is endless, the questions never answered, the amaxing coincidences, the disappearing evidence, the inconsistencies in accounts, the lack of a post mortem, the speed at which the undertakers arrived, leaving home before the time of the murder. And so on. Sean.

  2. I recall being in the Irish College and the Greg during the early 80's; 1) We were not allowed to discuss the event & 2) It was the general consensus that he was murdered and if he was he deserved it! (For what reason I was never sure).

  3. I heard that Villot had behaved very strangely. He had instantly pocketed the bottle of pills – Effortil – that the Pope took for his low blood pressure, together with his spectacles, his slippers, and the papers from his study desk. None of these were ever seen again.

The Secretary of State had also ordered the whole papal apartment – all 19 rooms of it – to be cleared of all John Paul I’s possessions; by six that evening there was no trace of the dead Pope anywhere to be seen. The apartment was then sealed until the arrival of his successor. That same evening – little more than 12 hours after its discovery – the Signoracci brothers returned to embalm the body.
The clear impression – as the Italian press was not slow to emphasise – was that the Vatican was anxious to conceal evidence; and the case against it was strengthened by its categorical refusal to permit any kind of post-mortem.

Buzzonetti’s diagnosis was simply not acceptable: a British heart specialist is quoted as saying: ‘For a doctor, any doctor, to diagnose myocardial infarction as the cause of death (when he does not know the patient extremely well) is wrong… He is taking a very grave risk and he certainly would not be entitled to take such a risk and make such a diagnosis in this country. Such a diagnosis can only be given after an autopsy.’
It should be remembered, too, that John Paul I was a lifetime non-smoker, that he drank seldom and sparingly, and that he had a long history of low blood pressure. Anyone less likely to succumb to a sudden, fatal heart attack can hardly be imagined.
How Pope John Paul I's death was reported in Corriere Della Sera. The headline reads: 'His smile lasted only 33 days'
The Vatican tried to plead that post-mortems for popes were forbidden, which was untrue – they were performed on Pius VIII and Clement XIV for a start – and over the next few days several other official statements were similarly disproved.

It was asserted, for example, that the body had been found by Magee rather than by Sister Vincenza; that the Pope had been reading Thomas à Kempis’s Imitation Of Christ; and that he had had a long history of heart trouble (of which his medical history had never revealed the slightest trace).

Magee as we know has been discoverd to be a serial liar and addicted to young man sex!

  4. John Paul I was a simple, humble man as many would describe.
He got rid of the pompous Papal coronation and refused to wear the Papal tiara.

He also stopped using the majestic plural Noi (we), while referring to himself and the papacy.
His In contrast to the intellectual discourses of Paul VI, who sounded "as if he was giving a doctoral thesis", Luciani's sermons would be simple, for example using examples of Pinochhio.
He originally refused to ride the sedia gestatoria, until the Vatican would tell him that people wouldn't be able to see him without it!

As a cardinal, he had congratulated the parents of the first test-tube baby Louise Brow. Many traditionalists had criticised him for that. His views on artificial insemination:
From every side the press is sending its congratulations to the English couple and best wishes to their baby girl. In imitation of God, who desires and loves human life, I too offer my best wishes to the baby girl. As for her parents, I do not have any right to condemn them; subjectively, if they have acted with the right intention and in good faith, they may even obtain great merit before God for what they have decided on and asked the doctors to carry out.

Even if the possibility of having children in vitro does not bring about disaster, it at least poses some enormous risks. For example: If the natural ability to conceive sometimes produces malformed children, won't the ability to conceive artificially produce even more? If so, won't the scientist faced with new problems be acting like the "sorcerer's apprentice," who unleashes powerful forces without being able to contain and dominate them? Another example: Given the hunger for money and the lack of moral scruples today, won't there be the danger that a new industry will arise, that of "baby‑manufacturing," perhaps for those who cannot or will not contract a valid marriage? If this were to happen, wouldn't it be a great setback instead of progress for the family and for society?
His views on abortion, unity of the church, female priesthood were also traditional.

However, his views on contraception were different from the common norm:
    In February 1974, Luciani stated:
If I were the divine master of the law, I would abolish the law.
However, after Paul VI published his encyclical Humanae Vitae, he was quick to reaffirm his stand with the encyclical.

Frances may be careful me thinks!!

  5. As stated in this daily mail article Was Pope John Paul I murdered? John Julius Norwich's burning question...:

Almost everyone agrees that the nun found the body. Most of the people (even relatives of the Pope who believe he died of natural causes; his personal doctor) say that he was in good health.

Almost everyone seems to agree that the Vatican statement was false and their handling of the situation was anything but transparent. Those supporting the Vatican say that the were in shock and thus acted roughly. But, even their own investigator (John Cornwall) thinks that they're morally responsible for John Paul I's death and that Vatican officials's behavior towards the new pope was condescending.

In the end, anyone can conclude that the death was fishy, and any decent national government would've at least made proper investigations and an autopsy.

  6. Was John Paul I murdered?: We'll never know. Maybe an autopsy might solve the mystery. Maybe it won't. Most of the people involved in this are either dead or really old.

He was a liberal and they hated him, simple!

  7. Why was he murdered - in Rome it is explained as such:

The "smiling pope" was good-hearted but weak, out of his depth in the Machiavellian environment of the Vatican.
John Paul I was a closet radical who would have taken the church in a dramatically different direction than the two popes who followed him.
John Paul I did not die of natural causes, but rather fell victim to a complex assassination plot.
Although a breath of fresh air after the dour final years of Pope Paul VI, John Paul I's reign was too short to have anything substantive to offer the church of the 21st century, especially with regard to its top internal priority, new evangelization.

  8. Thank you for for the informative article, Bishop. Ah yes, the question many of us stil ask is how the church might look today had John Paul I lived and served as pontiff for a number of years. There are far too many persons with influence on the direction of the Church to answer that question. I do believe that had JPI lived the church would have been in a better position to retain the reforms of Vatican II and that there would be less disention in the Church today. JPI strikes me as similar in personality to Arthur Michael Ramsey (Archbishop of Cantebury).

I pray that cardinals who are eligible to become the next pope, will search their souls with great humility and remember the examples of persons such as JPI. The church has had enough of harsh authority, scandle, striff, belittlement, lack of trust, and exclusion. Let those who will elect the next pope look to the example of John Paul I

  9. The problem, is that you are looking at the question from the perspective of then-bishop Luciani's third group; only by convincing oneself that the council said things that it did not say can one possibly argue that we have not "retain[ed] the reforms of Vatican II." Those of us in Luciani's second group, "who gladly accept the aggiornamento of Vatican II, seeing it as a grace to improve the relationship between the church and the world," see things quite differently.

  10. Democracy condemned,Sex in marriage a necessary evil,male/female children forbidden to be taught in same class as in co -education by Pius XI 1929,usury,slavery as moral, condemnation of freedom of press railroad etc all past papal teachings that have been thrown into the junk heap.As Lord Acton said of pius IX "Catholics are too sensible to go crazy every time a pope does". Once again a pope is not the church. The church is not encapsulated in one office, blown out of proportion from the time of Vatican 1. It should of ended at Vatican II but the Vatican abused its power in the long reign of JPII

  11. problem is the pope wouldnt allow the council to talk about birth control because signs were there that they would favour change, they werent allowed to debate celibacy or divorce where the faithful spouse was abandoned. In times past a council would of scoffed at the pope setting the agenda. When the comission looking into women priests reported back in 1976 stated that as far as scripture goes there is absolutely no prohibition to women being ordained,it was ignored.A small reactionary group only interested in its own power like louis the 14th.By bulldozing collegiality this small group gets ita way in the so called "official" teaching

  12. "...perhaps the Vatican's effort to fudge the circumstances of the death...gave rise to other problems and suspicions."

Fudge? Fudge? So the Vatican LIES about important things, which we've probably known or suspected all along. Really, now. Treat the world like fools, huh? That's so wonderful. So much like Jesus. And you want to be obeyed without questioning or scrutiny? Dream on.

  13. With the coverup we have seen in the last few years no one can say what caused his death. This is the price to be paid for secrecy. No one believes what is put out in official records.

Secrecy breeds conspiracy theories. Remember JFK assassination? Conspiracy theories are still out there and everyone saw that happen.

As for what John Paul I would have done as pope is really speculative since he did not have time to act. Remember no one expected John XXIII to do what he did. Some people grow when they enter a higher office and some shrink. In this case we really do not know.

  14. I remain unconvinced on his arguments around the death of JP1 and wonder why he supports the official line that JP1 suffered a natural if premature death. Does the Vatican routinely keep a portable embalming machine in the room next to the pope's bedroom as standard practice? Why the haste to embalm the body when most people in Rome didn't even know the pope had died? JohnXXIII and Paul VI were elderly men with terminal conditions - their deaths were not unexpected. When a younger pope after only 33 days dies, surely an autopsy would dispel any suspicion that would naturally arise but the Vatican refused to allow an autopsy? The group that in the conclave supported the future JP2, including Opus Dei, was able to reassert itself after the death of JP1 to reposition their candidate. The pieces of the puzzle fit together too neatly to be coincidental. If JP1 is canonized at some later time, it might not be as a "confessor" but as a "martyr".

  15. It is an interesting story and he appears to have been a good man and priest but please do not canonize him. I do not believe it is a good idea to keep canonizing prior popes including any of the recent ones.

  16. All this is just speculation and putting a smiley face on it doesn't make it anything except speculation. Even the "No conspiracy" is just speculation because there was never an autopsy. I am glad his family carry no fear that he may have been killed, but their trust is faith, not supported by fact because there was no autopsy.
    .
Those who want to believe John Paul 1 would have been another John XXIII can be just as accurate in their speculations as those who believe he would have been just like JPII. We simply don't know what kind of Pope he could have become.
    .
I do find that final paragraph a sort of signal about why this otherwise no-news piece was written. I guess we can forget the idea that more people with pastoral experience will become bishops and cardinals and bring that face-to-face knowledge of the laity into the Church again.

  19. The wikipedia article "pope" lists nine pope who served for a shorter time than John Paul I and one who served for an equal time. Touchingly the tomb of John Paul I in the crypt of St. Peter's is opposite that of Marcellus II, maternal uncle of Jesuit Cardinal and theologian St. Robert Bellarmine. "Good pope Marcellus" was immortalized by Palestrina's great "Missa Papae Marcelli." I spent 15 years in Rome, arriving on May 1, 1980. After learning some Italian, I helped weekends in Santa Croce Parish in Passo Corese nearby for six years. I smile a lot. The people there used to say that "Padre Roberto" was like "Papa Luciani." The resemblance didn't go much farther, however. It is consoling to know that this great pope who brought us so much joy in his short papacy still is remembered and revered. Fr. Bob

  20. I enjoyed this article about John Paul I because we hardly ever hear or know anything about him. I have been reading up on him and his cause since 2006, but I don't agree that he and the current Pope are the same: John Paul I spoke in the simplest of terms and the current Pontiff is more erudite and precise as a theologian. I also do not think he would condone Contraception because it was not known back then the Pill is a carcinogen and causes early abortions. Beyond that he did work a miracle and I hope both he and Paul VI will be beatified together in the Year of Faith.

I believe there were even a group called the Sicarians. Sicar means dagger & this could explain why the high priest's slave got his ear cut off about crucifixion time. Pat you are a Bishop and your priests are doing good works. Why not affiliate with C of E or other main denomination or even go it alone. If all these D & C presbyters are so disgruntled why dont they up sticks and join you as their bishop. There are alot of hurt parishioners & clergy about so what happens next?

  23. What Really Happened That Night?

Cornwell clinches his case with symptoms the pope suffered on his last day alive. After a normal morning, John Paul complained of feeling unwell after his siesta but didn’t permit Magee to call a doctor. While taking his daily walk that afternoon, he suffered a violent cough and pain — probably a minor embolism — but again forbade Magee to summon aid. That evening the pope conferred with Cardnal Villot for more than an hour in his study. They did not argue, according to Magee. Afterward, the pope reported great pain that soon passed. Again, he refused to consult a doctor. John Paul dined with his two secretaries just before 8 p.m. Death came up for discussion, and the pope prayed for resignation to death. After dinner, he rushed down the hall to take a telephone call from Giovanni Cardinal Columbo of Milan until 9:15. This run likely triggered the fatal embolism that struck after the pope went to bed. Cornwell summarizes events thus: “John Paul I wanted to die, the conditions conveniently prevailed, [and] the spectators did not rush forward to prevent him.”

After building a plausible case, Cornwell then offers a speculative reconstruction of what happened after the telephone call to account for contradictions in the witnesses’ testimony. Was Lorenzi out after dinner, or did he and/or Magee conduct the pope to his room after compline and call his attention to the newly active alarm buttons?

Cornwell assumes that Lorenzi was out until midnight while Magee stayed up late reading about papal deaths. Magee thought to check on the pope en route to his own room, saw the light on, and walked in to find the pope dead in a pitiful heap on the floor — an unseemly end. He waited for Lorenzi and together they propped the pope up on his bed with pillows as if reading. Without thinking to offer the last rites, they left the body to be found the next morning, not anticipating that Sister Vincenza would make the discovery first.

Though they hotly denied his reasoning, Cornwell suspects that the priests confected a triumph of image over truth — not even an embolism would strike fast enough to leave the dead pope still clutching papers. The tension between truth and image dogged Cornwell’s entire investigation. Evasion, gossip, and equivocation frustrated him at every turn, producing an account far sadder in its sinfulness than Yallop’s fanciful rant. For Cornwell, “the most obvious and shameful fact of all” is “that John Paul I died scorned and neglected by the institution that existed to save him.”

  25. The Vatican Bank scandal is mind-numbingly complex. More than a million documents had to be processed during its liquidation alone. Because the scandal is cited as a motive for the alleged murder of Pope John Paul I, it deserves its own summary.

“The Vatican Bank” is shorthand for the Institute for the Works of Religion (IOR). It is personally owned by the pope and makes loans to religious projects throughout the world. During the 1970s the IOR began to exploit its extraterritorial status as an “offshore bank” to engage in risky speculations involving Banco Ambrosiano of Milano. The latter had started as a special “Catholic bank” serving the Milanese Church outside the secular banking industry where Freemasons were prominent. The Ambrosiano’s director, Roberto Calvi, made contact with the IOR through financier Michele Sindona, who had been advising Pope Paul VI since his days as Cardinal Montini of Milan and was already exploiting the Vatican Bank for his own illegal schemes (supposedly including money laundering for the Mafia). Calvi and Sindona were themselves patronized by their sinister puppetmaster in the P-2 Lodge, Licio Gelli. All were cozy with cardinals.

In 1971 Calvi made friends with IOR president, American Archbishop Paul Marcinkus. The IOR bought shares in Ambrosiano, placing deposits in and making loans to the Milanese institution, its foreign subsidiaries, and a flock of shell corporations. Through intricate shuffles, Calvi was loaning and perhaps laundering money through the IOR to shell outfits that would use it to buy more shares of Ambrosiano. This drove up their price and gave him a bigger stake in the bank than allowed by law — not to mention large profits from transaction fees. Although Calvi was convicted of currency fraud in 1981, the IOR continued as his partner. It even gave him “letters of comfort” saying that the IOR controlled Calvi’s Panamanian shell corporations in exchange for Calvi’s promise that it would not be liable for their debts.

But in 1982 the stock market fell, revealing a shortfall of $1.3 billion in Calvi’s funds. He’s reported to have sought help from Opus Dei but was refused. Calvi fled to England, where he was found hanging from a London bridge. In 2002, Italian courts finally ruled that this was murder, not suicide, and three suspects are currently in custody.

After delicate investigations by the Italian government and the Holy See, the Vatican paid $241 million to Ambrosiano’s creditors in 1984 “for moral considerations” without admitting any responsibility. Most of the missing $1.3 billion was eventually recovered except $40 million that Calvi seems to have embezzled.

There was a curious footnote to the IOR scandal. In 1993, an Italian court convicted Slovak-born Bishop Pavel Hnilica of losing $2.8 million of Church funds by trying to buy a suitcase supposedly containing documents that would absolve the Vatican of blame. The seller who decamped with the cash was one of the men now charged with Calvi’s murder.

As for other participants, Sindona’s financial empire crashed in 1974, and he was poisoned in 1986 while serving a prison sentence for murder. Arrest warrants were issued for Marcinkus and two subordinates, but they stayed inside Vatican City and charges were eventually dropped. Left in office by Pope John Paul II, Marcinkus resigned from the IOR in 1990 for modest retirement in Sun City, Arizona. Gelli eluded the law for decades but was finally arrested in Cannes in 2002 and brought back to Italy to answer for his crimes.

The whole sordid business has been resurrected in Italy thanks to I Banchieri Di Dio (The Bankers of God), a 2002 film by Giuseppe Ferrara that sensationally blends financial fraud with Masons, Mafiosi, arms dealers, politics, and the funneling of CIA money to Solidarity.

  26. The murder of Pope John Paul I
"We will go back, My child, in history, a short history, and remember well what had happened in Rome to John, Pope John, whose reign lasted 33 days. O My child, it is history now, but it is placed in the book that lists the disasters in mankind. He received the horror and martyrdom by drinking from a glass. It was a champagne glass given to him by a now deceased member of the clergy and the Secretariat of the State [Cardinal Villot]." - Our Lady of the Roses, May 21, 1983

Furthermore, to help in understanding some of the other evil doers inside the Vatican before and after the murder of John Paul I, a web site entitled Bayside Prophecies provided an analysis of some of the major players, including the aforementioned Cardinal Villot:

For the sake of brevity, we will focus on only four cardinals: Cardinals Villot, Benelli, Casaroli, and Sodano. Three of these Cardinals have held the office of the Secretariat of State, the second highest position in the Catholic Church. Our Lady of the Roses mentioned three of these men by name on September 27, 1975:

"Antonio Casaroli, you shall condemn yourself to hell! Giovanni Benelli, what road have you taken? You are on the road to hell and damnation! Villot, leader of evil, take yourself from among those traitors; you are not unknown to the Eternal Father. You consort with the synagogue of satan. Do you think you shall not pay for the destruction of souls in My Son's House?" (Our Lady, September 27, 1975)

  27. Cardinal Villot
Fr. Jesus Lopez Saez, in his book Se Pedira Cuenta, reports that 30% of Italians are convinced that John Paul I was assassinated (about 15 million people). The convictions of these people are confirmed by Our Lady of the Roses: "We will go back, My child, in history, a short history, and remember well what had happened in Rome to John, Pope John, whose reign lasted 33 days. O My child, it is history now, but it is placed in the book that lists the disasters in mankind. He received the horror and martyrdom by drinking from a glass. 30. Right now I just feel sick in my stomach. For me it´s very hard to handle this information.
I heard vaguely about the Bank Ambrosia scandal and I knew that there is sometimes corruption within the Church. There has been often during the ages. It would not shake my faith.
I also knew about the P2 and Berlusconi.
But this, the Church being riddled by Free Masons, many of them in the Vatican, being able to kill the Pope....

Free Masons are supposed to be atheists, aren´t they. Some even say, they are kind of Satanists.
How for God´s sake is this possible?

People can sin, that´s human, priests can sin, even fall into serious sin, sometimes even crimimnal sins. It´s sad, but it happens.
But to join an anti-christian organisation, is more than falling for a temptation. It is deliberate.
How can a person after the committment he takes to become a priest, sacrificing a normal life, turn around and do something like this?
What psychological means do those organisations use to get priests to join them?

I´m still shocked and sick, but I want to know.
If we know how they work, maybe they can be stopped (at some future time, probably, if there is still some of humanity left).

  31. I'm not a Catholic, but I find this very distressing material, too. It also contributes to my growing, regretable persuasion that there is a spiritual/occult dimension to what we find ourselves up against.

An interesting quote here from Malachi Martin, especially in light of some of the earlier posts re ritual abuse and pedophilia:

"Most frighteningly for Pope John Paul II, he had come up against the irremovable presence of a malign strength in his own Vatican and in certain bishops’ chanceries. It was what knowledgeable Churchmen called the ‘superforce.’ Rumors, always difficult to verify, tied its installation to the beginning of Pope Paul VI’s reign in 1963. Indeed Paul had alluded somberly to ‘the smoke of Satan which has entered the Sanctuary’. . . an oblique reference to an enthronement ceremony by Satanists in the Vatican. Besides, the incidence of Satanic pedophilia—rites and practices— was already documented among certain bishops and priests as widely dispersed as Turin, in Italy, and South Carolina, in the United States. The cultic acts of Satanic pedophilia are considered by professionals to be the culmination of the Fallen Archangel’s rites." (p. 632. The Keys of This Blood)

  32. Captain Morgan of Batavia New York was the first person to reveal some of the inner secrets of Freemasonry, which resulted in the Masons murdering him (in 1826). He revealed the initiation rites of the lower degrees or the Blue Degrees, which included rituals, passwords, and secret oaths. William T. Still wrote in his book 'New World Order': “The concern over the influence of secret societies in the United States grew steadily until an anti-Masonic explosion erupted in 1826, after the murder of one Captain William Morgan, of Batavia New York. Morgan was killed by Masons shortly after obtaining a copyright for an expose on Masonry. Morgan’s crime was that he was the first to publish the complete rituals, including the oaths and secret passwords of the first three degrees of Masonry, known as the Blue Lodge (p. 98).”

Now Captain Morgan’s book touched off a firestorm. According to William T. Still in 1826 there were 50,000 Masons in America. After the publishing of this book 45,000 left the Masons and resulted in as many 2,000 lodges closing between 1830-1840. As the result of this scandal, a political party called the Anti-Mason party was formed. It got 130,000 votes in the 1832 presidential election and carryied the state of Vermont. William T. Still quoted William J. Whalen’s writing in 1958, who explained: “…Rhode Island and Vermont passed laws against blood oaths. Thousands of Masons burned their aprons. In a few years time, membership in the New York lodges dropped from 30,000 to 300 as a direct result of the Morgan incident( p. 108).”

    • The New York State Senate in 1829 began an investigation of the Masons. Its findings revealed that Masonry was “composed of powerful and wealthy men whose members held office in almost “every place where any importance.” They also criticized the role of the press, thereof, saying the press had been “...silent as the grave. This proclaimed sentinel of freedom, has felt or has been smitten with the rod of its power.”

    • Five years later, in 1834, a joint Committee of the Massachusetts legislature investigated the Craft. “It found that Freemasonry was a distinct independent government within our own government, and beyond the control of the laws of the land by means of its secrecy.”

It there is any doubt of the Masons’ influence in this country an incident with one the U.S. President should clarify the point. This incident is not in most history books. If it is, the most important facts are left out. The U.S. Congress tried to impeach President Andrew Johnson because he pardoned Albert Pike, who was a General in the Southern Army when they fought against the North in the Civil War.

After the Civil War, Pike was tried for treason, found guilty, and sent to jail. Many of the Mason brothers used their influence to get Pike pardoned for he was the Grand Master of the Southern District. Now President Andrew Johnson, being a Mason, pardoned Pike April 22, 1867, but did not inform the press for nine months. Because of the Anti-Mason fervor in this country, Congress impeached President Johnson in March 1867. During this impeachment hearing President Johnson, Albert Pike and General Granger had a meeting for three hours in the White House. The General was summoned by the house Judiciary Committee and asked about this meeting. William Still’s book stated that the General said the following. “They [President Johnson and Pike] talked a great deal about Masonry. More about that than anything else. And from what they talked about between them ... I understood from the conversation that the President was [Pike’s] subordinate in Masonry (p. 123).”

Shortly thereafter, President Johnson was given the fourth through the 32nd degrees of the Scottish Rite Masonry in his bedroom in the White House. Now this shows the power and the influence of Masonry and its shows that the President of the United States is subordinate to the Grand Master of Freemasonry.

  35. Yallop actually points the finger at Opus Dei: "With regard to the infiltration of the Vatican by Freemasons, for example, the Vatican through the current Pope, has now not only taken on board a variety of Masons from a variety of Lodges but it has also acquired its own in-house version. Its name is Opus Dei."
Many of us speculate the reason JP2 was elected when JP1 was killed is because he was always sympathetic to Opus Dei, witness his rush in making Escriva a saint. I love to bash OD.

  37. It's not that surprising that a pope's murder could be covered up, given the secretive and insular nature of the Vatican and its Curiae.

How about the murder of a US president in public broad daylight in a major US city, or the murder of 2,500 and the destruction of several billions of dollars of real estate, while cameras roll live? Compared to these tour de forces, the murder of Pope John Paul I was a trivial thing to handle.

As bad as anyone can imagine it to be, it's probably worse than that.

Careful. When you decide to take the blue/red pill (sorry, forget which one it was), the truth will not only not set you free, but it will cause profound anxiety.

  38. Bishop Pat, This contribution has nothing to do with JP1. I feel however that I should let you and your followers know that either the nerds at Lisbreen or some of their reporting staff read this blog. Last week I referred to the fact that that there was evidence within the D&C website that the dead were still active in the diocese. I cited the fact that Canon Dominic McHugh was still listed as active in Ballymoney despite the fact that he was dead about 2 years. Another contributor mentioned that a deceased priest in Ardoyne was still labouring in th at North Belfast parish.I have just had a look at the website and hey presto the names of deceased priests have been removed. I'm so so pleased with myself that I have galvanised those incompetent insensitive numskulls into action. Hurrah. From the man who gets things done !!

Years later, checking on the current popes condition, I find about Pope John Paul I. Why they think he was murdered and I makes alot of sence to me. Also, I live with a man that I love and adore who is a Mason...I feel mixed feelings right now.....

  40. As interesting as all of this information is, I'm not surprised at the thought that the previous pope was assassinated. It's clear that any organisation that holds such a power over an estimated billion people is susceptible to corruption, if not doomed to it immediately. However, given the nature of the church, catholic or otherwise, I fear that corruption happened at its founding, or, in other words, its founding was based on an impulse to control a theology whose influence was growing rapidly. So, basically, the killing of the new pope was not an attempt to acquire greater control of the powerful organisation, but rather, to ensure that the purpose of the church was not compromised... Let's not pretend that a stranglehold over the minds of millions was originally a 'noble' endeavor by the devout...

All revolutions are based on lack of currency in the peoples hands.

The cycle is repeated over and over and nobody seems to learn.

The only solution is to eliminate currency. The only way to do this is to become self empowered and work with your neighbors for your common good.

Planting the seed of this idea, even if it appears impractical at the moment is of absolute importance because it is the only solution for society.

It is the only Nick Tosches book that is out of print. That in itself should arouse your curiousity.

  44. The influence of satanism (Luciferianism) in Masonry cannot be understated. And the influence of Masonry in the Catholic Churh as well.

To provide you with proof, let's take the very words of the man himself:
"The Apoclypse is, to those who receive the 19th degree, the Apotheosis of that Sublime Faith which aspires to God alone, and despises all the pomps and works of Lucifer. Lucifer, the Light-bearer! Strange and mysterious name to give the Spirit of Darkness! Lucifer, the Son of the Morning! Is it he who bears the Light, and with its splendors intolerable blinds feeble, sensual,or selfish Souls? Doubt it not!"
Albert Pike, Morals and Dogma pg 321 paragraph 2 wherein Pike cynically explains to the reader (Christianity being "that Sublime Faith..." )where they can receive "More light" (the knowledge that invloved Masons so desperately seek) and WHO will provide them with it. Pike's book is considered the "last word" in morality. This coming from a man who started the hedonistic Palladian Rite. Pike was renowned for his trips into the wilderness with wagonloads of whiskey and prostitutes to perform the most heinous acts. He was also a lover of Annie Besant, Madame Blavatsky's heir apparent in the Theosophoical Society. Perhaps this is where the "Boys in the Grove" get their inspiration?

What is also interesting is that those who are in the Blue Lodge (1st three degrees of Grand Orient Masonry aka "Beer Lodge") will never know what their organization is really about. They are merely useful idiots unconciously implementing the -now final- plan of the NWO.

FYI - the infiltration of the Catholic Church by Freemasons started WELL before 1963. Pope Leo XIII wrote extensively regarding this plague as far back as 1860, and other Pope's knew about it back to the early 1700's. (read Alta Vendita isbn #0-89555-644-8) Pope John XXIII was the one who called for the council to "reform" the Catholic Church in 1960. JFK, our Catholic President, was rightfully concerned about the Masonic connection to the Church as well as the CIA. Along with his plan to disband them and put us back on ths gold standard, he paid the price, didn't he?

Illuminism IS Freemasonry, (Adam Wiesthaupt's NWO brainchild)
Freemasonry IS a religion. The religion of Lucifer.

The only Catholic truth left is in the Tridentine (traditional Latin) Mass. That was destroyed with Vatican II in 1965. If you look back at the moral decay in Western culture, you can trace it entirely back to the '60's - liberalism, materialism, modernism, and most of the ills that stem from these false concepts can be attributed to the intentional destruction of the Catholic Church - from within.
Pope John Paul II (may God rest his soul) if not ONE of them, then was surely FULLY knowledgeable of their involvement in this heresy. The next Pope will undoubtedly be one - Ratzinger?

Masonry IS communism. Fact; Bella Dodd, avowed communist, intentionally recruited homosexuals and communists into the Catholic seminarys in the '40's - to the tune of over 1000- before rejecting communism herself! One need not look too far for the source of pedophilia scandals rocking the Church today.

Also, read Epperson's - The Unseen Hand, Nesta Webster's Secret Society's and Subversive Movements.

A wealth of truth for those who seek it.

Does a bear shit in the woods?
All this horrified response presupposes a pope surrounded and supported by a protective network with *his* best interests at heart. The pope is a prisoner and a puppet; a representative, not of God nor the people, but of the organisation that profits from the status quo. Nobody easier to whack than the pontiff, if he steps out of line.

  50. I am amazed at the content of this article. I am a history major studying to (hopefully) become a college professor and I have never read anything about this pope except in passing, if at all. You must be a well-educated man to know so much about this pope... did you study religious history or something of that nature in your days as a student? Anyway, the entire work is so scholarly and professional-looking that I am overwhelmed by it. If one thing is apparent, it is that this is well-researched.

The argument is laid out in a logical order with sufficient background information to give the reader an idea of who he was and what he did. You also give background information about the major players and forces that set events in motion and list major events in the mysterious death. All of this is done in a manner that gives needed information without bogging the reader down in "fluff", which is a definite plus. Another major asset is the addition of a prophecy of Nostradamus: I have read a few of his quatrains before and they seem uncannily accurate when they are read and compared to modern events. Best of all, you present well-organized evidence and leave the reader to make their own conclusion instead of implying the truth or falsehood of the argument.

  51. I just read 'The Last Pope' by Luis Miguel Rocha and did a yahoo search for Albino Luciani and yours was one of the most interesting. I was an evangelical missionary in Italy at that time, so was nominally aware of the death of Aldo Moro and the two Conclaves they had that year. So I was very interested to know more. Rocha's epilogue is supposedly written by his source who had a part in the murder of Pope John Paul I, by smothering. I got some more details from your treatise and I thank you.

  55. Yes you are quite right John Paul I died on the evening on 28th September (according to the Vatican), or in the early hours of the morning on Friday 29th 1978, depending on which version of events you care to follow. Small matter: the reality is that many powerful men; Cardinals, Archbishops, Monsignori, and laity, had an awful lot to lose if this holy man had lived. As a priest, bishop and cardinal Luciani had detested the exploitation of the poor by those in power. Famously, and uniquely in Italy for that time, he allowed the civil authorities to prosecute two priests of his diocese who had been guilty of stealing from their parishioners. Luciani had come up against the brute force and arrogance of Archbishop Paul Marckinus when he took over the Catholic Bank of the Veneto to pay off Vatican creditors. Luciani drove to Rome to plead with an ailing Pope Paul VI who wrung his hands and said he could do nothing about it. Why was the same Mackincus, never noted for being an early riser, spotted by Swiss Guards pacing around the Vatican Gardens in the early hours of September 28th / 29th? Was something deep in his conscience stirring, that in some way he had been involved in the martyrdom of a Pope? We shall probably never know how "the smiling Pope" met his end. What is for sure is that this is no historical episode belonging to the past. If a pope can be murdered then, he surely can be murdered now! Pope Francis has set out on an ambitious plan to clean out the filthy stables of the Vatican Bank and to deal once and for all with those at all levels of the Roman Curia who have dragged down to ruin the Church they claim to serve. Pope Francis has chosen to live in the Sancta Martha guesthouse, not to be isolated away in the papal apartments. This may well because he loves being with people, or maybe its because he suspects that he may well suffer the fate of his beloved and lovely predecessor 35 years ago, found dead in his bed before he could cast out the vipers from the Vatican.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Mention has been made in the comments of John Magee, the english speaking secretary to Pope John Paul I. He provides an interesting footnote to how the Curia treats its own when they are in trouble. Padre Magee was one of the first on the scene of the popes death chamber. He later admitted that while he had discovered the pope dead, it was just that he hadn't been the first to do so! Vatican double speak if you ever saw it. After the popes death Magee (always despised by the Italian Curialists) was summarily ejected from the papal apartment. He was observed wandering forlorn in St Peter's Square, crying. Some Italians chased him, calling him "the Assassin". In desperation he sought a meeting with his line-manager, Archbishop Caprio (the deputy Secretary of State). He poured out his heart, crying his eyes out. Caprio looked through him and told him that it would be best that he get out of the Vatican and Italy as soon as possible. Magge protested that he had nowhere to go. Caprio shrugged his shoulders and told him that it wasnt his problem. So, and not for the first time, Magee was booted out of the Vatican without even his airfare. Though the second time this happened, when John Paul II's all powerful Private Secretary Stanislaw Dziwisz managed to persuade his boss to get rid of Magee from the side of the pope once and for all, it was with a Bishops mitre on his head. Right up until his death John Paul II had a soft spot for the lugrubrious Irishman with "come to bed eyes"

  57. The Lee Harvey Oswald connection; a conspiracy based upon facts that you can look up for yourselves: I saw something on the History channel the other day about the complete story of Lee Harvey Oswald’s last day or week alive regarding his “wedding ring." This is when he shot President Kennedy.
There was one thing that stood out. The ring that he left in his old lady’s Russian tea cup. Well, it was his old lady’s mother’s tea cup (who was hooked up with someone from the Russian interior ministry, or something to that effect).
This ring had the Russian sickle and hammer stamped in it (left behind symbolically by Oswald). The Russian sickle and hammer is the equivalent of the Freemason square and compass.
The compass represents God’s intelligent design (the compass, measures angles, degrees, and an imperfect circle according to PI as far as I understand it).
The square represents Man’s architecture, because nature doesn’t build in right angles; as for straight lines, well you could argue that a crystal is a straight line, but built upon natural imperfections. Note: you can gain the proportion of a square from a compass according to Pythagorean’s theorem, because a straight line is 180 degrees, and a right angle is 90 degrees. The “G” is supposedly represents the Great Architect.
In order to have a proper order of operations, the word God should be above the compass, which is above the square. It is not according to “be your own god,” or “do whatever thou wilt.” This plan is specifically against the Catholic Church.
Now take the Russian sickle (agriculture, or God’s intelligent design) and hammer (industry, or Man’s industry) and you can see the connection. The reason why there is no “G” is because the governmental ideology of Russia is communist from the beginning; thus, no freemason structure according to the way the United States manifests the Great Architect’s plan in its “free” people.
The plan is a One World Order with mankind’s enslavement according to the Federal Reserve System here in America. Reportedly, every country in the world is on a One World Order type banking system, with the exception of Iran (Kaddafi was supposedly assassinated because he wanted to back his country’s economy with the country’s own gold). This is what “they” call their manifest destiny; that men are too stupid to run their own world, so they should be enslaved.
This is the thinking behind the Supreme Court’s ruling (here in America) regarding the R.F.I.D. chip, which is currently in the Affordable Healthcare Act (Obamacare), which is a class II transponder system. It is an implantable medical device in the FDA database that is going to contain you records that are life sustaining (your medical records), and your records that are life supporting (your bank records). Note: this is why the A.C.A. was over a thousand pages long; to hide their plan regarding the R.F.I.D. chip, and this is why the current congress is only speaking of repealing Obamacare in part (today is 12/2/2014).
According to this R.F.I.D. chip (which is literally the “mark of the beast,” because it was first used to mark your pets as your property) it is part of the A.C.A. under the “commerce clause” of the United States Constitution (where the judicial branch does not have substantive powers to legislate; much like Obama and his immigration bullshit) as a tax. This is manifest destiny thinking!
