  1. Is it true that Father Emeritus James Donaghy was given a six hour release by the governor of Maghaberry to attend the party?

  2. I refer to my message yesterday, that D&C clergy can now act with impunity with regard to sexual affairs. Relationships of a sexual nature between priests & women(or men) will be no barrier to future ministry.
Why did Fr Gordon McKinstry resign from active ministry, one could well ask given recent developments ?

  4. There are a number of Clergy in D&C who are bringing the Priesthood into disrepute, and the refusal of Bishop Treanor to address this matter is storing up a 'timebomb' .
    The 'clock is ticking' !

    1. A joke ? Bishop Treanor does not seem to require celibacy of his priests in D&C :-)

  6. Something tells me 2015, is going to be a very challenging year for Bishop Noel Treanor. He can only postpone difficult decisions for so long, and his recent attempt to save errant clerics at any price, ( Kennedy,Dallat & others) is going to be something that comes back to haunt him. More scandal is on the way, not least because Bishop Treanor has given the "green light" for Clergy to disregard the rule of Celibacy. What do you is going to happen, when moral leadership at the highest level is seriously wanting ?

    2. Did not Liberation Theology in South America sack celibacy years ago? Wonder if the Mrs & I could return to Elphin? Doubt I'd want to though

    1. It seems to me that under the current D&C regime a priest can be sexually active with men or women, inpregnate women etc and still continue in ministry - even if ýou have multiple sex partners and even if your philandering becomes public!!!!!!

    2. Whats your view on fornication Pat? You see, you seem to be doing your darnest to get RC priests to fight for an end to celibacy. But you and many others seem to be fogetting the sin of fornicating (reading between the lines of course). Or are loose morals indicative of your secular church? Just wondering ........

  8. Thankfully, at least, our dear Dean is safely back in his Cathedral Church, snug in the arms of his beloved mistress, Lady Nigella von Klimptentocken. And all is well in our little world....
