PAEDOPHILIA AT VATICAN ?

PAEDOPHILIA AT VATICAN ?

A RECENTLY PUBLISHED BOOK BY A VERY EXPERIENCED ITALIAN VATICAN WATCHER CLAIMS THAT CHILDREN ARE BEING SEXUALLY ABUSED BY SENIOR PEOPLE AT THE VATICAN AND THAT THIS ABUSE IS RELATED TO THE RESIGNATION OF POPE BENEDICT !

The author, Leo Zagami, was born in Rome in 1970 and has been interested in secret societies and conspiracies all his adult life.

Leo Zagami

What surprises me most about this new book of his is that he actually names cardinals, bishops and priests who he claims are involved in this activity in the Vatican and for some reason these prelates and priests have no sued him for libel.

If he was saying the things about me that he is saying about these prelates and priests I would sue him and I am sure I would have no bother in getting the best of national and international lawyers to handle my case "pro bono" - for free - no win no fee.

And in the case of these Vatican prelates and priests there is no worry about legal fees. On the one hand the Vatican would not even miss the legal fees and on the other hand there must be loads of devout Roman Catholic lawyers around the globe who would be happy to act for the church  for nothing.

Zagami even claims that one of the cardinals who took part in the conclave to elect Pope Francis - and who could have become the pope himself - is involved in these orgies!

He claims that Romanian children are been taken to the Vatican to be sexually abused !

A Romanian child and his sleeping place in Rome

Zagami says that he has no problem about priests being gay as long as they are not hurting children and as long as they are open about their lifestyle. So he does not seem to be homophobic.

For many years now I have received reports from priests and seminarians about homosexuality at high levels in the Vatican. One priest told me: "The way to be promoted in the Vatican is to do sexual favours for your superiors".

However Zagami's book is the most detailed and contains the most serious allegations ever against named individuals. And of course there is a world of difference between two adult having consensual sex - even if those adults are cardinals, bishops and priests - and the sexual abuse of minors.

I believe that it is possible for anything to be taking place in the Vatican.

If I were Pope Francis I would be very worried about Zagami's book and the details in it.

His claims need to be thoroughly investigated.

If they are true then the Vatican needs an even greater "clear out" than we thought before.

If his claims are false the the Church as a whole and the named individuals need to hold him to account in a court of law.

  1. Further proof,if needed that from the Vatican downwards to the humble parochial house in rural Co Down the abuse of children still goes on.

    1. If you are aware of abuse at "a humble parochial house in rural Co Down", then you should go to the police.

    2. And to whom should one go if one has a fear of abuse at the Vatican?

  2. Google Zagami - he's a nut case!

  3. He's not being sued possibly because he's a 'nutcase' and, for this reason, discredits himself and his allegations.

    1. Its very easy to call someone a nutcase.

But even "nutcases" cannot be allowed surely to accuse named cardinals, bishops and monsignors of paedophilia?

Plus his publishers can be sued?

Maybe the Vatican is afraid to open this can of worms?

I have talked to priests and seminarians who are not nutcases who have taken part in sex parties in the Vatican and who have slept with prelates there.

I have also spoken to one ex seminarian who continues to provide sexual services for resident and visiting prelates in Rome.

Are you saying that there is no sex at HQ?

    2. On further reflection, you are probably right, Pat. You are far better informed on these matters than I. Pax.

    3. Please - I did not mean to suggest that I know better than you.

Its just that over the years - being an "outsider" other outsiders have come and spoken to me and needed my support.

In one sense you can count yourself blessed that you know so little about these things :-)

      Pax tecum

  4. As a former resident of The Pink Palace I can tell anyone reading this that during my time there the number of fellow seminarians engaging in sexual activity with ranked clergy was high. In fact one senior cleric would often take some of the lads out for dinner and use his supposed influence to gain sexual favours. He told a lad in my year that he would see to it that the student would be earmarked for great things in the church. Needless to say one the randy cleric had his way the student was dumped. Pat nothing changes.

    1. In this Year of Favour, 2016, we shall soon have a Wedding Package, in place, at St PeePee's Cathedral (also to be known henceforth as Divisminster), that will soon outstrip the Pink Palace in Rome, which, for far too long, has had the Irish wedding market cornered.

Royal Gay weddings will be given top priority.

  6. you should read this book. it defends LGBT marriage from a roman catholic traditionalist perspective: http://www.amazon.com/Faithful-Truth-How-orthodox-Catholic/dp/1468153900/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1365973748&sr=1-1

  7. I get the imprssion reading this vulgarity that the contributors are bitter gay men. We Catholics believe in forgiveness, redemption and the Love of God. You people on the other hand take pleasure in the sins of others, or percieved sins, as this blog has a very 'Harry Potter' theme to it.

    Remove your own planks!

    1. I think this post, on Jan 8 @ 19:43, was written by a bitter gay man. What is a "Harry Potter" theme as a matter of interest?

I'm earnestly trying to understand what anonymous @ 19:43 actually means by his/her post. Other than that it's an incoherent illogical inconsequential rant I am at a loss, so can anyone enlighten me?
Perhaps he/she "percieves" (sic) things differently, but from my perspective as a non gay, catholic, nor "bitter" individual, his/her utter simplistic critical and hostile comment seems typical of a small minded poorly educated individual. (perhaps not in a narrow academic sense, but certainly relating to a broad understanding of humanity's development).

  9. It is reported in today's press that a number of Anglican bishops and 105 cathedral deans are writing to the Archbishop of Cantebury to ask that the Anglican Church apologise to the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community for treating them badly over many years. Like "second class" members is the term used.
I was just wondering if our very own cathedral Dean could follow that example and write to his own bishop to seek an apology for the failings of this diocese in its attitude to those of different sexual orientation.
Perhaps a guarantee could be given that those who come out will have nothing to fear either by ridicule or dented promotion prospects.
That would be a fine act in this Year of Mercy all brought about by the grand actions of our very own cathedral dean.

    1. Yet, these people entered the Church knowing full well the teachings on the sacrament of marriage! Who needs to apologise? The hypocrites, those with hidden sexuality contrary to our Church. Those who take on celibacy with no intention of keeping it! There you all have it, the Anglican Church will receive you all!

We will continue to support marriage and family. It is you people who stay with us, use our structures and have no courage to put your money where your mouth is, start a gay Church! Let the people vote with their feet. Do it using your own land, structures and MODIS operandi! Cut the coattails, you are like an irritated fly trapped in a room with a closed window. Go in peace.

    2. By the Lord Harry, you are right! You are RIGHT! My poor dear fellow, if you can't come to your dear old Dean and get him to fight for you, then to whom can you turn?

As I write, Nigelica has been despatched to fetch ink, quill and parchment, for the composition of this letter from The Dean of Belfast to the Bishop of Down and Connor.

I can assure you, my dear sir, there will no mincing of words. How dare he! How dare he, I say! How many more beautiful, lovely, young gay men, must be made to suffer at the hands of this cruel Bishop and Diocese?

My gander is quite up. ENOUGH declares this Dean! We will have no second class members here! Only first class members for the Dean!

My dear fellow, do please feel free to come and see me at Divisminster. Come on up and see your old Uncle Hugo. Sit up on his knee and pour out all your troubles.

A good old cup of English tea and a hearty slice of Auntie Nigelica's plum duff and we'll set the world to rights.

As regards my letter: it shall not be found wanting, I do assure you. We shall light a candle, on Prince Albert St, this very day, that shall never be poofed out!

      Yours, ever so truly,
      Dean Hugo Hans of Divisminster.

    3. Dramatised nonsense! It is you and your elk who constantly bring this chaps sin before him. Why? You take pleasure in it. He clearly has repented, reembraced celibacy and is busy in the ministry of the Lord. What is your game? Take that pkank out of your eye sister!

    4. Being caught out in a public scandal is not the same as truly repenting. Had there not been the debacle that occurred, this man would still be out of control. I do not see any evidence of real conversion at all. Self-pity, playing the "victim" and blaming everyone but himself has been the hallmark of his "repentance". This man is a buffoon and he has brought ridicule on the sacred ministry. Maybe a little bit of satire is part of his penance and to be expected - since this "chap" is good for it? All that the "Dean" is busy about is his own self-aggrandisement and the furtherance of his fantasy island projects. He suits himself. His own needs and desires are what drive him - not the self-sacrificing service that is the mark of a real priest.

    5. He clearly has repented has he? Why did he not take himself off somewhere else from St peter's then? Why did he stay with the other person with whom he is implicated in the "sin" as you call it yourself? This whole episode has been a running sore in St peter's parish and has caused a lot of talk. Thank God, he is going. He will not be missed. He can that whole choir with him!

It's also being reported that the current assembly of Anglican bishops is facing a split or schism. It seems that Archbishop Welby, recognising the hostility of the conservative rump against more liberal views on gay rights is seeking agreement among his bishops for some kind of looser confederation of the different strands/countries within the Anglican communion. It's being reported though that the hard line anti gay rights clergy will seek confrontation, rejection, and stage a walk out. Seems it's the African bishops leading the conservative rump.

  11. Breaking news: The "Dean" announced today in St Peter's that he is leaving the Cathedral in a few weeks.

He told the people that, after 10 years, it was decided by the bishop and himself, that it was time to to move.

The bishop offered him another assignment in D&C but "Dean" Hughey has also been offered a role in a team of priests in a University setting in England and, surprise surprise, that appeals to him better, as he has such a great gift for the 'yoof'.

End of an era at St Peter's. Hallelujah! Maybe it can become a normal Catholic Parish again.

Any more word on that programme they are making? Is the "Dean" leaving the diocese and the country just in time?

  12. Anonymous at 22:15 on Jan 10: Sorry, are the rest of us all missing something here??? So HK "repented and re-embraced celibacy"? Did he now? WHEN? He would have gained a lot more respect if he had been honest from the start - that would have been real repentance. What he actually did was brazenly (for he has one hell of a brass neck) return to St Peter's to the strains of the Hallelujah Chorus and carry on business as usual, ignoring the elephant in the room and treating people with customary contempt. No explanation given and rumours left to abound. An honest and abject approach would have served him and everyone better. Good riddance to him from St Peter's. I hope his 'other half' will be on the next boat out of here too!
