CATHOLIC HOMOSEXUAL PREDATOR 2
YESTERDAY we told you that there is a homosexual predator cleric in the Irish Catholic Church who specialise is preying upon young vulnerable priests and trainee priests.
We also informed you that the full details of this clerics activities have been reported to both the Archbishop of Dublin - Diarmuid Martin and the Papal Nuncio to Ireland - Archbishop Charles Brown.
NEITHER of this high ranking Catholic prelates have done anything to stop the predator in his tracks and he is as active as ever.
THIS MORNING I HAVE EMAILED A COPY OF MY BLOG FROM YESTERDAY TO BOTH ARCHBISHOP MARTIN AND ARCHBISHOP BROWN.
I ASKED BOTH OF THEM:
"What are you doing about this situation which has been reported to you"?
I emailed Archbishop Brown at his email address: nuncio@eircom.net
I emailed Archbishop Martin via his secretary Joseph Merrick: joseph@abhouse.org
In case either of them claim they did not receive my emails I will be posting both of them a hard copy via RECORDED DELIVERY.
You would have thought that this abusing cleric would have been removed IMMEDIATELY after his misbehaviour had been reported to two of the most senior archbishops in the country. After all he has been AT IT for years.
The fact that he is still in his job raises TWO QUESTIONS:
1. WHO IS PROTECTING HIM? One of the answers is that he is being protected by someone very powerful or influential. Why is this?
2. WHY IS HE BEING PROTECTED? There has to be a logical reason why this cleric is being protected. Has this abuser got some information on other senior people in the Church? Is he threatening them? Are they afraid that if they act against him that he will spill the beans on others?
A number of years ago a priest who had close connections with the Vatican made the following statement to me:
"THE WAY TO GET PROMOTION IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IS TO DO YOUR SUPERIORS SEXUAL FAVOURS".
We know that Cardinal Keith O'Brien of Scotland abused priests and seminarians for years - sometimes using the Confessional to seduce them.
Could this, or some reason like this, be the reason that this predatory cleric is being protected?
We need to keep the pressure on this situation in order to get it resolved and in order to protect young men at present and in the future.
Blog readers could do worse that start to email Martin and Brown at the two email addresses above.
After the weekend it is my intention also to involve some courageous investigative journalist in this issue.

Pat, you suggested, I emailed both archbishops about the allegations in your blog.
ReplyDeleteWhat concerns me almost as much as the alleged sexual seductions (or/and
attempted seductions) by the priest in question is the alleged inaction of both prelates.
This inaction, if proven true, is surely a grave violation of current protocols for dealing with such matters and cause for dismissal under Pope Francis' new guidelines for investigating reports of episcopal negligence.
It absolutely IS a grave violation and cause for dismissal, Magna Carta. These repeated episodes are sickening. Seminarians are obviously viewed as cannon-fodder in the mentalities of these sick men. The alleged predator, if this is all true, must have some fairly big Nobs (if you'll pardon the pun) by the short hairs! Set the media on them.
