DANCING NUNS - POLAND

DANCING NUNS POLAND

We have had a few days of very heavy conversation about the state of Maynooth Seminary and the sad situation that exists there.

We will return to the topic later today.

In the meantime lets have a look at the Polish Nuns who are DANCING FOR JESUS :-)

I wonder what traditional Catholics - the Tridentine-ists etc think of Sr Faustina's sisters letting it all hang out?

Its a long way from Roman vestments, maniples, lace albs and incense.

Maybe the Polish Dancing Nuns should be put in charge of formation at Maynooth?

I can just seem them letting go and singing the Irish version of Dancing Queen - BANRION DAMHSA :-)

  2. Nothing worse than a cleric trying to be 'hip'.

    2. You're right, and they're not 'hip' either.

  3. Maybe it's back to nature. Nuns seem harmless enough. Official church has lost the plot. Humanity is showing extreme behaviours-terrorism etc. Is this a cycle of behavior Jesus wants us to be aware of..

  4. Lovely to see those young nuns enjoying themselves. Unfortunately we will hardly ever see anything like that here as the nuns even more so than the priests are a dying breed. My sister is in an amalgamated community and at 77 is the youngest of 20 nuns and no sign of any replacements. Strangely the contemplative orders seem to be the only ones with vocations. The Lord works in mysterious ways.

    1. Genuine prayer seems to be the only thing the formal church has not messed up. Perhaps this is why contemplative orders survive. Everybody else is too busy arguing

  5. Dancing Queens in Maynooth sounds a healthier option than the prancing Queens that appear to be currently reigning there.

  6. Pat, if those nuns, who are full of the Holy Spirit, were in charge of formation in Maynooth - the 600 odd rooms would be full of vocations! I have no doubt about that.
