MAYNOOTH SEMINARIANS "MIGRATING" FROM GRINDR

MAYNOOTH SEMINARIANS "MIGRATING" FROM GRINDR

BLOG READERS have been asking if some seminarians in Maynooth are still using the gay sex finder GRINDR app that Archbishop Diarmuid Martin informed the public about when he withdrew his seminarians from Maynooth over the summer.

Our latest information is that most of the students who were using GRINDR have now "migrated" to two other apps. One is called FABGUYS:

And one is called BENDER:

The migration was caused by GRINDR getting all the attention over the summer.

FABGUYS and BENDER do the same job - they allow gay men / seminarians to contact each other for "NO STRINGS ATTACHED" gay sex.

A contributor (see below) has claimed that he met a Northern Ireland seminarian on barebackrt.com - a site for anal sex without condoms.

A contributor has told us today about another website popular with older seminarians or seminarians looking for "daddies".

So, business as usual.

AMY SENDS RORY TO ENGLAND:

One of our Blog readers has claimed that Amy Martin of Armagh has sent Fr Rory Coyle to England to get a church job looking after the homeless.

The same Blog reader was wondering if Rory took his Audi 6 Coupe with him to England.

I think that Amy was behind Rory's "out of the blue" appearance at the back of Armagh Cathedral during Mass a month or two ago sporting a ginger beard.

I think they were testing the water - seeing if how people would react - before he would be put back in the cathedral.

When his reappearance did not go down so well they shelved that idea for a while.

I do think that Amy wants him back in Armagh - but probably not in the cathedral - some little quiet country parish maybe?

We will see how that goes. Some parishioners may have problems with that?

I do know of another outed gay priest who was paid by the Church to look after the homeless.

It went alright until one night the priest was found having sex in the centre with a young gay homeless man.

Hopefully Rory will not make the same mistake.

The Irish Catholic Church is still sending its PROBLEMS to England!

I thought that Amy might have learned a lesson from Bishop Treanor's mess in sending Father Kennedy to London earlier this year?

  1. And here we go again, the same old stories.... With much unfounded misleading information.

Your information on Coyles car is totally wrong! Do you like a child just 'dream up' these blogs?

    1. A blog reader said commented saying thst Rory deive a 2 door Audi 6. Not I.

I have no idea what Rory drives.

If you do - correct the previous contributor. Simple!

    2. He's certainly not driving a 10 year old Ford Ka like I am!

  2. Seems like England as you say is a dumping ground for Irish problems. Can't see the English Bishops putting up with that forever. I'm off to the panto tonight with a church group. I wonder if there will ever be a show called Priest the musical

    2. I wonder will the Sunday Life have any further revelations about Shooey this week? Bishop Pat, you said there was more to come out about him?

  3. Who is paying for Rory's trips to the USA and now England?

Is Rory still on an Armagh priest's salary?

    1. I would imagine that Armagh Diocese is paying Rory's travel expenses.

I would also be quite certain he retains his salary and benefits.

I suppose therefore his needs are being met from varioys collections from the laity?

  4. Not mine, anymore

  5. Sadly the collection seems to be the only thing that shifts the Irish church these days. If everyone with a genuine gripe withheld contributions for a few weeks it would be interesting to see what happens next

  6. I met a N. Ireland student priest from Maynooth last week on barebackrt.com and there a few of them on there. He considers it too common to wear Calvin Kleins but instead wears Dolce & Gabbana and they aint cheap. That should narrow it down amongst his friends. An unhealthy sexual practices too.

    1. Well would you, for crying out loud, NAME HIM AND SHAME HIM! And the rest of them "on there" as well!!

THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN THE SEMINARY! GET RID OF THEM! THEY ARE THE FUTURE RORY COYLES!!

ARCHBISHOP EAMON MARTIN WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON????

      Fed up parishioner, Co Armagh.

    2. Give his name to Bishop Buckley, if you know it. These boys are a disgrace. They have to be got out of Maynooth.

    3. If a contributor tells you something like Rory Coyle drives an Wudi 6 coupe why do you automatically believe them?

  7. FATHER HUGH KENNEDY:

A contributor has asked if THE SUNDAY LIFE will carry more information about Fr Kennedy tomorrow?

I am told the answer to that is YES.

There will be a further article tomorrow.

    1. Its not a question of belief.

Someone submits a comment and I publish it.

If the information is wrong YOU can submit a comment saying so and I will publish that.

Its your chance to deny and correct.

That's one of things comments are for!

  8. ah lads come on. all of this is hearsay. we need tangible proof and its seriously lacking. please do a blog on kermit the frog having an extra marital affair on miss piggy. There! I said it! therefore it must be true!

    1. I did not know that Kermit and Piggy had a vow of celibacy or chastity.

That is certainly worthy of a blog.

    2. The reference to DaddyDater points to the phenomenon of sexual relationships between older priests and younger seminarians.

I have come across this on several occasions during my ministry.

In fact there is a very well known case in my own diocese at present with Archbishop Martin knows of and appears to be ignoring.

      PP Dublin.

    3. What is going on here?
The priest is supposed to be an Alter Christus.
One of the great complaints that I have heard over the years is that Bishops gather round themselves -
      The nice guys
      The yes men
      The ambitious
      The self-seeking.
I would not say that all the "Best Parishes" in Ireland are full of such "priests" but most of them are.
The hard-working, really genuine and sincere men and who avoid their Bishops like the plague are ignored, largely unknown by their Bishops and forgotten.

YOUNG NORTHERN IRELAND SEXUALLY ACTIVE GAY PRIEST TELLS HIS STORY

  11. Pat are you serious? A young CATHOLIC priest?

    1. YES - a young Catholic priest from a Northern Ireland diocese who fully practising his priesthhood..

    2. Great! That's exactly what we need!

Does this stupid young gay priest not realise that all he is doing is feeding the rumour and gossip mills?

It's not as if there are thousands, or even hundreds of "young" priests, in the Northern dioceses. It shouldn't be a major problem to whittle down the likely contenders as to who is the "mystery".

I hope this clown is identified, that his bishop removes him from ministry quickly and expeditiously initiates the process for his dismissal from the clerical state.

      Unbelievable!

    3. Is he staying anonymous?

      Delete
    4. Yes. But he will engage with / answer DIRECTLY HIMSELF via the comment boxes.

    5. The Northern dioceses are Armagh, Down and Connor, Derry and Clogher.

However Meath and Raphoe are in the Armagh Province.

    6. Not to mention Dromore and Kilmore and indeed Ardagh and Clonmacnois.

      Delete
    7. You forgot Dromore. Meath and Raphoe may be in Armagh province but they are not in "Northern Ireland". You have specifically said that this guy is from "Northern Ireland".
