The pre booked CLOWN for the Armagh St Patrick's Day Parade made a NO SHOW on Paddy's Day and war replaced by the RC Archbishop of Armagh Eamon Martin !!!
The Black Leather Gloves - normally worn by an IRA military escort unit?
The Brolly - normalls worn by the Orange Men on July 12th.
The big silver chain around the neck?
Why was EAMON MARTIN making a spectacle of himself by WALKING as one of the EXIBITS in the parade ?
Has he no gravitas.
Even Brady would not have left himself down like this!
One old lady at the parade asked him:
"ARE YOU DRESSED UP OR ARE YOU A REAL BISHOP"?
He told her he was real !!!!
He was followed by the administrator and curate of the cathedral.
Two more EXHIBITS !
This is the leader of the RC Church in Ireland for the next 20 years !!!
Why does his mammy and family not go straight to Armagh and take him to the John of God's in Dublin?
Is it any wonder the RC Church in Ireland is losing all respect ?
Is he sticking out his tongue in this pic?
Im beginning to think Amy is NOT WELL !!!
Why would the Archbishop of Armagh make himself an "exhibit" in the Paddys Day parade?
Is it a cry for HELP???
Why wasn't he standing with his people instead of behind the exhibitors
ReplyDeleteDid he think he was marching in a twelfth parade
He is "not well".
DeleteI just looked at that "tongue picture" I wonder if it's a mannerism and he may not know he is doing it. Just a thought that's all. A strange thing to do on purpose
DeleteI'm afraid I don't understand this one. Did he just show up or was he invited. What is the implementation of this one way or the other
ReplyDeleteIt seems Sean that important people walk after all the clowns and leprechaunS and comics and the sexy dancers And the people in fancy dress
ReplyDeleteSo Amy must be important in Armagh, even though one lady asked him if he was dressed up or was he really the archbishop
He replied
Yes I am really the archbishop
00.18 Thanks for your time and explanation. Have a good Sunday
DeleteHas your Well run dry Pat? Such a silly blog today, a tad on the side of nonsensical bull!!!
DeleteGet a life Pat and show leadership!
The Archbishop of Armagh always walks in that parade. Cahal Daly used to go around in some sort of pony and trap during it - so did Brady.
ReplyDeleteI think it is lovely of him. I am confused by what you think is wrong? Do you not wear a chain round your neck? Honestly confused by this blog.
ReplyDeleteIs it appropriate for the Primate of all Ireland or any Bishop to be seen sticking their tongue out at the crowd? Very weird and inappropriate behaviour. Where you in the crowd Pat and was he sticking his tongue out at you? We need to be careful what we say about His Grace because he does have a tendency of reporting what you say about him to the Police Service of N Ireland.
ReplyDeleteGood God! The man was just toying, and possibly knew whoever was taking the picture. Must he show arch-episcopal gravitas all the time? Isn't he allowed to be human (and humourous) like the rest of us?
DeleteIf he behaves formally too often, we call him 'aloof', 'remote from the people'. If he relaxes too much, we call him 'a clown'.
Sorry, Bishop P. , but I think this blog is very unfair to Ab. Martin. He's not a great prelate (none of them are, frankly), but I think people can be too hard on the man. Cut him SOME slack.
We're with you on this one, MC!
DeleteMC can you decide which side of the fence you are actually on. One minute you are attacking the Hirearchy including Amy and then defending them to the hilt. You are full of contradictions and like others on the blog I'm getting sick of your nonsense, I don't really know why Pat allows a windbag like you pontificate on here so much. Go and play your devils advocate game somewhere else where people can bear listening to you.
Delete13:33, well, if Bishop P. allows a great windbag like you to post, then, surely, he can make provision for a little windbag like me. Yes?
Delete13.13 please ignore Magna Carla's posts because many of us on here have learned to do the same. Just do not respond to his posts as he/she thrives and exists to dish out vile, vulgar, ignorant, abnoxious vitriol and is allowed to use this blog to do so. Please people, ignore Magna Carla's posts and comments.
Delete14:40, why would they ignore my posts? You didn't! Ha ha
Delete"Implementation"??? Shurely shome mistake seanny boy! I think you meant to say IMPLICATION. Back to the classroom for you I fear. Why not run your posts past Magna Carta [sic] before posting them for help with your grammar, as that buffoon is running this bog now.
ReplyDeleteOh, dear. Envy and hatred are consuming you, aren't they? Pitiful.
DeleteDid you not notice that His Grace was wearing the Greca? that is the lond, double breasted road favoured by Curial Cardinals and Officials. His one had the cloth covered buttons and will set you back a cool 750 euros at Rome best tailors. All that was missing was the stop plate hat with tassels. This man is a class act.
ReplyDeleteReally Pat, take this post down for God's sake. Your nasty side is showing!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe fact that you pick on, you highlight, you attempt to measure the mental capacity of this particular archbishop once again highlight you anti-catholic stance. Why just our archbishop? Is it because he is the Catholic archbishop? You need reporting.
ReplyDeleteTo? The Inquisition?
DeleteClass act is what it is
ReplyDeleteThought our clergy were here for the common People
Not prancing around like at a horse trial
Where was Thomas?
DeleteBig Hank19 March 2017 at 09:22
ReplyDeleteHe was parading because he can, theres not a man out there who doesn’t peacock especially if he has an audience.
We all love to be secret dressers of sorts if we are honest. Priests Bishop’s nun deacons sure the garb is great.
LOOK AT THE Fatima statute touring Ireland fiasco for fuck sake did you ever hear or see the likes of it a fucking statute needs privacy.
Hank I looked on line at the pictures of the statue and it seems the people (of the world?) are attracted to this devotion. There are 6 statues in all I believe. Question im left asking is what do they hope to access via a statue that they cant access via a real live person. I think this says more about the people thanit does about the statue.
ReplyDeleteI agree dont get me wrong I see the value in imagery to make connection and inspire and all that correct catholicism use BUT BUT when it takes grown men priests or who ever to say that they are acting like body guards and that they must say a rosary at certain times in front of it or that they cannot let anyone near it or coceal it away from sight because they have to dress it and undress it. Like it was a sexualised body OH for FUCKSAKE thats pure idolatry 100%. This is what formed the basis of the reformation. I'm all behind leading people to prayer bringing them to the good news but Marianism is wrong and the mother of God would tell us so I'm sure. Maybe even through me the Spirit can work to do good things like speak about the likes of this.
DeleteMy God choose a weak woman who said yes to his desire well as a matter of faith I believe that and honour her as the vessel BUT how far does it go....
Surely not to these extremes
I see your journey to the Ecclesial Community of England has really brought out your inner Cromwell...
DeleteHaven't travelled anywhere other than apply truth to what I see
DeleteSame as traipsing To Lourdes Sean
ReplyDeleteOne can pray at home...if one wants to
Thomas getting buckets of water thrown on him
ReplyDeleteChek out the parish facebookpage
What facebook is it would like to view it
DeleteArmagh Parish Facebook page, the pics are hilarious. It even shows young Thomas dressed as an elf lol and Amy meeting Santa Claus are only two examples, totally hilarious.
DeleteOur Archbishop, according to a priest who is in regular contact with him is a very hard-working man and entirely devoted to his vocation.
ReplyDeleteYour blog, this time is very much over the top.
I resent your habit of referring to him as Amy.
How would you like to be referred to as Bishop Patricia? This might be more suitable given your condition.
And what is Amy's "condition" I wonder?
DeleteHi Pat... Don't make a mockery of Mental health issues please.
DeleteI've lost family members to suicide, please don't even try and bring this into your hatred of anything Catholic.
Shameful!
Thank you for that (-to poster at 13.35)
DeleteYou've lost your way with this one. FYI the 2 sitting primates have always lead the parade on St Patrick's, what's the issue with that?
ReplyDeleteWhat's the Twelfth got to do with it?
Wearing his Chain of office, what's the problem?
Me thinks Pats is losing it, this coverage of the great festival of Patrick in Armagh is a mere insult by you Pat, I can sense your hatred and bitterness here, Christian leadership and example Pat?
Bishop Pat I think you have displayed an error of judgment with this post. I have done some research over the weekend and I can see that every Archbishop of Armagh in living memory has taken part in the parade. I have been able to source pictures right back to the time of the late Cardinal Tomas O'Fiaich and he, like Cahal B, would be in the parade in a pony and trap. It is expected of the Archbishop that he takes part in the parade, rather like the Queen in the Trooping of the Colour. I don't think that anyone could say that Tom Fee was not a man of the people, and yet there he is. As to the Greca (the long double breasted coat with the eight buttons); Cardinal Daly and Brady wore this, so I would imagine that Eamon is just following what is precedence. Bishop Pat in many, if not virtually all, of your posts you have something valuable and important to say. Not this one. It appears spiteful, churlish and is factually wrong. I don't think you should take it down - no need for that, but perhaps a retraction and an admission that you got it wrong on this occasion? Up to you. But it would show your stature and greatness if you could. A friend.
ReplyDeleteSo Amy is following the precedent of making an ejit of himself!
DeleteIt would answer him better to reply to the numerous letters he received on important matters like Gaynooth.
Maybe he is less than impressed by someone posting daft nonsense such as this, and really can't be bothered engaging with his intellectual inferiors?
DeleteI don't think Bishop Pat should retract anything said with regards to Amy the prize Clown. I think we are all entitled to an opinion and I happen to agree with what Pat has said. Instead of parading around the streets of Armagh he should be sorting out his Clergy and the Archdiocese. Even his senior clergy are reporting his inaction regarding the sexual behaviour of some of his Priests directly to Rome. Some of his Priests are taking sudden and unexplained sabbaticals, some are in Sex addiction clinics in the USA, we know one is having sex with a teenage boy who is a member of the DUP. We have the World Youth Day debacle in Poland with some of his Priests reported for inappropriate behaviour with young lads and the list continues and is endless. Yet Amy still does nothing and despite many complaints he won't answer letters to some complainants who make serious allegations about his Priests. Amy is far too busy to deal with any of that, she would rather parade herself around the streets of Armagh. As some twit said earlier Amy parades around like the queen at the trooping of the colour, that's a good comparison indeed.
ReplyDeleteThats as may be the case, but it doesn't detract from what I have said in my belief that this is a mistaken post and one that deserves a retraction on your part. Otherwise it could appear that you have too much pride to admit when you are wrong. Also I don't think the Archbishops do make "ejits" of themselves. They bring great happiness and joy to the tens of thousands who come out in all weathers for the parade. If they weren't to attend and participate that would cause great upset.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's very much the case and you totally miss the point with making sad excuses for Amy. Let's stop deflecting and face reality, the Archbishop is a twat.
DeleteLooking at those hideous pictures it's a classic case of, "Where's Wally"?
ReplyDeleteI wrote to this (Clown) regarding my son at the youth day and still waiting for a reply. I can now see why he might be busy taking part in a parade, maybe I should have confronted him face to face at the parade instead. This is not a threat in anyway because I don't want the police knocking on my door. Our family have not returned to Armagh Cathedral.
ReplyDelete11.44 Not so sure if you ever darkened the door of Armagh Cathedral.
DeleteUnfortunately there are clowns in all walks of life, many posting on this forum that have nothing new to offer but bitterness and evil towards a Church that has acknowledged the terrible hurt it has caused in the past, but is trying to build a more just and livable future for its many faithful following.
12:57, you live an ever-present daydream.
DeleteIf you call people posting on this blog "clowns" what does that say for you posting on here. If you don't like what you read on here then slide on some place else because your contribution adds nothing to the discussion. Are you one of Eamon's yes men wanting to climb up the episcopal greasy pole because it sounds like it. Very obvious that Lots of Armagh yes men are on here today defending the indefensible. Pathetic really.
Delete13:39... You must be one of Eamons "No" men.
DeleteWho are you to authorise who decides to post or not!
Get a life and move on my friend!
As I said 17.06, if you don't like what you read, jog and slide on. By the way, I'm not your friend.
Delete17:56... In the material world your 'no friend' of mine, but in 'God's world' whether you like it or not you are!
DeleteGod bless you and your judgement at this time.
Whoops!... another one bites the dust. You should have written "you're no friend of mine" But you chose a wrong use of "your".
DeleteThing is TODAY 2017...we now know a lot of what goes on in the R church
ReplyDeleteThomas fee was nothing to be proud of either....what about the lovely man from, gaynooth, fr mc Ginnity Are u saying fee wasn't complicit There
Brady...please don't mention That man
So now I believe It's time our church leaders behaved with humility....starting with the long coat....a plastic mac like the little girl dancers wd have been more appropriate and standing with the people instead of parading
In front of them...please get into your head Amy, we are not enamoured by your ilk anymore...bishop Casey's heritage Is stamped all over your ilk
Enough is enough
Ask yourself, would Frankie wear a 750 coat...are u in a Mercedes too ?
Exactly where does Eamon Work... ????
What type of work is it?
I got my raincoat in C&A's sale in the 1980s(buttons not covered_)
Delete11.14
ReplyDeleteI think it is time to speak to him
Man to man
If that is sexually Possible
I thought he was dressed as the child catcher in Chitty.
ReplyDeleteHa ha Good one.
DeleteMagna Carta
DeleteDid you not promise recently to stop the Ha Ha stuff - you sound like an inebriated donkey!
20:40, donkeys don't drink.
Delete20:40, when did I promise to stop laughing at bona fide humour?
DeleteThat Peter McAnenly lad doesn't look at all well. What's wrong with him??? There's healthier looking corpses!
ReplyDeleteIf you have EVIDENCE of any priest sexually offending against a teenager (boy or girl) you must report it immediately to the PSNI. Put up or shut up.
ReplyDeleteNo one has mentioned sexually offending, the teenager in question is 18 and above the legal age of consent for gay sex. The question is it appropriate for an Armagh Priest to be engaged in a gay sexual relationship with a lad so young. There is a massive difference to your understanding of the situation.
DeleteMost serious to see allegations of a priest involved in a sexual relationship with a teenager. Is this true Pat? If so you must report it to the police immediately. If there is any truth in it then the perpetrator will be arrested and charged and a file prepared for the DPP. More likely to be hearsay and gossip I think. There is nothing illegal about a man in his twenties being in a consensual sexual relationship with someone over the age of consent, who may be under 20 years of age.
ReplyDeleteHe is 19.
DeleteLegal...but still a teen
ReplyDeleteIs he the DUP lad who wined and dined the Priest in the members dining room at Stormont or is there another one?
ReplyDeletePat I heard that Archbishop Eamon got two new kittens recently from a woman in Castledawson. Two new additions to Ara Coeli so it's obvious that Eamon is a cat man.
ReplyDeleteJust checked that out with an Armagh source. Yes. Two kittens. One black and one ginger coloured.
DeleteApparently he has not named them yet.
Any suggestions for names from Blog readers ???
Cackle and Sean?
DeleteI take the two kitten are also queens.
Delete@ 18:20
Delete"Two kittens. One black and one ginger coloured."
Do you mean a big black one and a ginger beer? I wonder
Rory and Thomas
ReplyDeleteGorgeous and Puck?
DeleteAmy and Stephanie
ReplyDeletePat the Rat and Buckley lol
ReplyDeleteThis blog has descended into puerile nonsense.
ReplyDeleteReally? Didn't stop your posting. Can't be that bad, then. Yes?
DeleteOh, Pat. You really are scraping the barrel...
ReplyDeleteAs a daily reader and follower of the blog, this past while it has gone to reck a ruin.
I would have expected better things...
Disappointed.
