Pedophile Priest With HIV who Raped 30 Children Forgiven by Church

Catholic Church absolved priest after who faces no criminal charges for raping young girls under 10

By: Jay Greenberg on 2nd May 2017 @ 5.51pm © press The priest won't face criminal charges for raping 30 children

A Catholic Priest has been acquitted by the church after admitted to raping almost 30 young girls aged between 5 and 10-years-old.The priest, Jose Garcia Ataulfo, was cleared of any wrong-doing and won't face any criminal charges, despite the fact that he knew he was infected with HIV when he sexually abused all the children he admitted to raping. The mother of one of the priest's victims wrote a letter to The Pope asking to meet with him in Rome to discuss the case, but was shunned by the Vatican who declared that "the matter is closed". by Taboola Sponsored Links You

Nowere indigenous young girls from Oaxaca, a state in southern Mexico known for its large indigenous population.Due to the significant influence that the Catholic Church wields in Mexico, the priest won't face any criminal charges, particularly for his crimes in areas populated by indigenous ethnic groups. The report which first appeared on the Spanish-language news site Urgente24.com, says the priest, was absolved of any wrongdoing by the Archdiocese of Mexico.According to Urgente24.com, only two out of the thirty rape victims have come forward to denounce the acquittal.

The website Anonymous Mexico reported that the mother of one of the victims asked to meet with Pope Francis in Rome, but she was rebuffed by the Vatican which wrote a letter stating that it considered the matter closed.Earlier this year, Pope Francis announced that the church would be reducing penalties for pedophile priests by relocating them to a different church and offering them support rather than punishing them. The Pope said that the controversial measures were designed to create a "more merciful church".

© press Pope Francis says he wants to create a more 'merciful church' According to The Daily Mail, sexual abuse of minors by priests – and the subsequent cover-ups by bishops and other Church officials - have been widespread in many countries, including the United States. The issue was thrust into the national spotlight in 2002 when the Boston Globe revealed the extent to which the local archdiocese shielded abusive priests from being exposed to the public even though it knew they posed a danger to young parishioners. The Globe exposé, which detailed abuse cases that numbered in the thousands over a span of several decades, inspired other victims to come forward, leading to an avalanche of lawsuits and criminal prosecutions. Not only did the floodgates open in the US, but the Catholic Church was also forced to confront cases in other countries, including Mexico. In 2004, the Vatican re-opened a prior investigation against Marcial Maciel, who was accused of sexually abusing minors as well as fathering six children by three different women.

Though the allegations spanned decades and the extent of his crimes was known to church officials, it was only in 2006 that the Vatican forced Maciel, one of its most powerful clergymen, to retire from active ministry.

PAT SAYS:

I am all for treating paedophilia and paedophile priests in a non hysterical way.

However a priest raping 30 girls and not facing the consequents is GRAVELY UNJUST.

On top of that he may have given the children HIV.

There can be no place in the priesthood for such a man.

He needs to be prosecuted, imprisoned and treated.

He needs to be dismissed from the priesthood.

Are we now going to see MORE COVER UP???

  1. As I said recently on another of your blogs, Bishop P., the priesthood is the Trojan Horse through which Satan enters the Church. This moral horror tale confirms it

    1. Mexican bishops and state work together. It is a very corrupt state and local church.

      Delete
    2. Yes, it is very corrupt.

Only last year, Pope Francis (that other spick) supported Mexican bishops in their drive to retain so-called 'Reparative Therapy' (a form of torture) for LGBT people. The bishops were successful, having worked hand in glove with secular cronies.

  3. The priest having HIV is his own business.

    But raping 30 children!

And I'm sure he did not wear a condom for the 30+ rapes.

If he was in the UK he would be charged not only with rape but with attempted murder or at least endangering 30 lives.

Can't believe Francis and Mexican Hierarchy tolerating this.

    2. 07:52, why can't you believe it? Pope Francis and the Mexican so-called 'hierarchy' are spicks, and that vile priest is a spick. Spicks stick together...no matter what. What is the welfare of innocent children to these Christ-betraying, satanic bastardos.

Get rid of the priesthood; it's a curse, not a blessing.

    2. Interesting. I thought I'd posted that on the blog about M.Commane in reply to the two of them having been in dispute. M. Commane made a very valid response too.

Wm.Crean thinks as well as any puppet with a hand up his bum. Poor temper is right too. A completely ignorant, inhumane waste of a vocation. But hey, that's just my first hand experience.

He's a great advert for abandoning the Catholic Church.

This story about the Mexican priest is a fabrication. He doesn't exist. Its just part of the ongoing campaign of hatred and bile against the church.

  11. Today's Blog story is claimed to be true by some and to be fake news by others?

The Catholic Church in Mexico denies that this priest exists?

The story was sent to me by a regular Blog reader whom I also know off line. He believed it?

If the story is true it ties in with so many other true stories.

If not - then it certainly has a ring of truth.

Father Brendan Smyth abused HUNDREDS and not just 30 children.

Sean Brady and others covered up for him.

We also know the Catholic Church is better than the KGB at denials and misinformation.

The other Mexican and very prominent priest Marciel Maciel, who was protected by JP 11 did worse than this supposed priest ever did.

Sometimes its hard to know where the truth lies.

  12. Pat, you do yourself no service by attempting to justify a false report by referring to true reports about real people. Have the graciousness to accept that this story is false.
It would be like me defaming you maliciously and then arguing that there once was a Buckley who did something similar therefore I am right to defame you. Plase please tell the truth.

The story is either TRUE or FAKE.

At this time I do not know who to believe.

All I am saying is that whether it is true or fake thousands of similar and worse things have happen and were covered up.

      Look at CR's comment below

  13. Even with fake news the sentiment is correct.

I reported abuse in Maynooth to,
    Dermot Martin
    Sean Brady
    Duirmuid Clifford
    Eammon Martin
    Ray Brown
    Charles Browne
    John Buckley
    William Cream
    Michael Smith
    John McAreavy
    Bill Murphy.

None of them acted except Sean Brady. He referred me to Sr.Colette Stephenson, Maynooth safeguarding officer. She refused to look at the psychological reports. She refused to speak to my witnesses. She then said it was my word against my abusers.

Hugh Connolly said there was nothing further to do as Colette found nothing.

Years later Hugh apologised and admitted to me that they completely messed up my situation. But refused to write a formal apology, telling me that the trustees would never allow it. I informed his bishop. Within a month he was on sabbatical as seminary president. Time wise it coincided with last year's Maynooth scandals.

My abuser was removed from the seminary after my complaint. He did mostly admin work since but is currently being developed because he had a civil wedding.

Me; well I'm just the church's excrement. I was not human and the bishops flushed me out for opening my mouth.

    6. ((Hugs)) CR, You're not excrement! I read your account with growing sadness and a depressing familiarity. Your final paragraph especially, evoked in me an immediate empathy. I try to say to myself things like "Leave The Dead To Bury The Dead" and do, to various degrees, get on with my life, but it's a shunning that I imagine ex Amish might find concord, not that one is necessarily estranged from family, though I daresay some might be, indeed my mother accused me of revenge at first, I said "Justice," but we don't talk about it. No, you can have an adult comprehension of things but for many of us, I suspect, our concept of a Jesus that loves us is in a way mirrored by, if we were fortunate, that of devoted loving parents and that Jesus and the institutional Church is, for our inner child, one and the same. So being at odds with, when one should have expected love, understanding and to have been believed, then the injustice and then the cold shoulder and frozen out, is I think very much like losing a family. More than that, because the church has always been the reference point for discerning good and bad, the inner child perceives itself as bad because it has upset the Church. As I say, you can come to understand as an adult that this is not so and to try to instill a new self reference, but this early imprinting is as much feeling rather than language, as it probably started to form while we were learning to talk, so countering it just with language is difficult. CR, I hope you have the company, love and encouragement that goes beyond words, that you need to heal and nurture your new creation and that the hurtful memories and feelings lose their intensity and instead can just be accessed in our common cause with Pat and this blog, for justice sake and our mutual healing and building the kingdom. :-)

  14. The problem with this post is that we have heard of similarly outlandish stories that were actually true.
Brendan Smith ordained against the wishes of the head of the norbitine order. His activities an open secret but nobody stopped him.
Similarly the paedophile headmaster Vincent Mercer. Moved up and down the country by the Dominicans. They knew of his activities since the late 1960's yet only removed from ministry in The late 1990's. There examples sound unbelievable but they are sadly true.

    1. Just to clarify Vincent Mercer was made principal of the Dominican (then all boys boarding) Newbridge college AFTER it was known he had abused children. Google him. He was in court not so long ago for crimes elsewhere

    2. To be fair pat news reports always use generic pics. Today on the journal.ie they carried a story on church involvement in hospitals. The picture they used was a picture of enclosed nuns who never had anything to do with a Hospital! Enclosed Dominican nuns from Drogheda actually.

  21. I just watched a video of Fr Fortea -
    https://youtu.be/6Pjo93LuD44
At the end of the video, he mentions that good people will be attacked for the good they do (he ministers a lot in exorcisms and deliverance ministry)and surely enough he is attacked by scandalous stories like these (in fact the original picture was taken from that very video by screenshot) which mislead people who - rightly - are sickened and outraged. It's demonic, as it pits good against good.
It's a very interesting talk. He predicts that canon law will be changed to allow more involvement of some laypeople in deliverance ministry. It's eye-opening about what happens and well worth a watch

  22. This story as +Pat knows is doing the rounds on facebook which as we all know removes anything that is deemed questionable; but on the Irish Facebook postings it is important how the Roman Catholic faithful are reacting.

The main thing is they are turning away from the Roman church not because of lack of faith but the tripe that goes with being a Roman Catholic and the call to accept and forgive all that goes even though new guidelines and so called committees are in place

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Perhaps that is true of some, but the vast majority of people reject Catholicism because they either do not believe in God or if they do, they do not believe that Jesus is divine and thus adopt a generic 'spiritual' category to describe their religious beliefs.

Certainly all the nonsense doesn't help, but the blunt fact is that people reject Catholicism for one simple reason - they do not believe it is true.
