D&C PRIEST PROVIDING MOTORWAY ORAL SEX!

A DOWN AND CONNOR PRIEST IS OFFERING OTHER MEN ORAL SEX AT GAY CRUISING VENUES IN BELFAST AND ALONG THE A1 MOTORWAY BETWEEN HILLSBOROUGH AND BANBRIDGE IN COUNTY DOWN!

I have written to the D&C bishop Noel Treanor to inform him of the matter - but sad to say I do not expect him to do anything about it!

NOEL TREANOR

"Dear Noel,

I have received information that Rev Xxxxx Xxxxxxx, PP of Xxxxxx parish is involved in gay sexual cruising at various locations in Belfast including The Giant's Ring at Shaw's Bridge and a number of laybys on the AI motorway.

I'm afraid that I am wasting my time letting you know this as I expect you, as usual, to do nothing!

However, I would inform you that this matter is known to people in the media and will not remain secret for much longer.

Yours etc,

+Pat Buckley"

This priest, who was recently recognized giving oral relief to another man by one of his parishioners is only ONE of SEVERAL D&C priests who are currently involved in gay cruising, cottaging etc.

These priests names and activities are known to many of the other D&C priests and to an increasing number of diocesan laity.

EVERYONE is asking why Noel Treanor is tolerating all of this?

Some people say that he simply does not care?

Others say that he so short of priests he does not want to lose any priest no matter what he is at?

Noel Treanor does not have a pastoral bone in his body. He is a desk man - aloof and indifferent.

Paddy Walsh, his predecessor was no great shakes, but at least he challenged a priest if the story was in danger of becoming public.

Treanor does not seem to care who knows?

He is simply sitting in his ultra luxurious £ 4 million palace on the Antrim Road in Belfast - fiddling while "Rome" burns.

I have spoken to people who have visited Lisbreen - nicknamed "Chateau Noel" - who have been gobsmacked by its luxury and the fine food and wines available there.

Is it any wonder that Maynooth Seminary and many religious orders are going to hell - and becoming gay clubs - when bishops like Treanor are operating the way they are?

And, with the fact that most of the seminarians are actively gay we can expect the future church to be manned almost exclusively by priests who are cruisers and cottagers.

Here we are not even talking about priests who fall in love with another man and live in a discreet relationship - away from public view.

We are talking about men who are, while in seminary, being introduced to an outlandish and carefree promiscuous gay lifestyle enjoying sex with each other, priests, bishops and laymen.

These men then arrive in parishes and other ministries with robust sexual histories and begin a priestly life  with sexual abandon as its driving force.

Personally, I believe that a priest, who is gay, should be able to find a loving partner, commit to him openly and minister in a spirit of openness and authenticity.

But how can any man who spends his weekdays hanging around men's toilets, truck stops, traffic laybys, cruising sites etc have any credibility on a Sunday when he stands up in front of the People of God to lead them in Gospel way virtues?

Don't get me wrong. Any man can fall. The just man falls seven times a day. We have all fallen short.

But surely a promiscuous gay lifestyle - or a promiscuous heterosexual lifestyle for that matter - is in marked conflict with being a priest?

But for this generation of priests and bishops, it is now becoming the NORM!!!

Have any of our Blog readers encountered or spotted any of these priests?

  1. I'd be more shocked if I heard a priest was caught with a woman in d&c . Most of them are gay hoores . I've no objections to anyone in a committed same sex relationship priest or not . Why is noel fiddling while d&c burns ? Is it a case of can't speak up or won't speak up ? . Is noel comprimised in any way ? Or just dusnt give a shit ?

  2. Well, well, well, Pat. Your own lifestyle before you settled down mirrored that of the men you so absolutely condemn today. Your letter to Bishop Treanor is very threatening and intimidating. Of course so.much more is expected of clerics and all unsavoury & unpriestly behaviour is wrong but your judgments are so harsh but also hypocritical. So, it's ok if you are a "settled" gay man in relationship....the rest on roadsides are totally godless?? Your own life's hypocricies are blinding me. What a quick walk away from the Our Father debate! - "And lead us not into temptation.." Let's remember the other words - " And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us..." These are the really challenging words Pat. Do you get it?

    1. My letter to Noel Treanor is direct. Where do I threaten him?

Did you not carefully read the blog?

Where did I say any man was godless?

What about my words about people, all of us, falling?

The priest in question needs help.

But the big problem is the current state of priesthood, dioceses and religious orders.

Or do you want the priesthood to become one, big, gay, sauna.

    2. 23:30, these priests are their own worst enemies. Are you one of them?

Belfast is a big village and priests are all well known. So any priest who is giving out blow jobs at Shaws Bridge or wherever is going to be eventually recognised.

Is it sheer arrogance with these men or are they irredeemably stupid? Does their mickeys run their brains?

Don’t blame Pat Buckley. These men are accidents waiting to happen. Journalists know who they are! It’s only a matter of time.

    3. Pat, you really are a hypocrite. Absolutely. You ascrirbe to yourself attributes you don't have - moral and spiritual integrity way beyond all of us - as if all clerics are morally moribund. You make far too many broad, sweeping statements. It's very unfair to the majority of priests who are reasonably good men trying to live their lives as best they can in difficult, changing and challenging times. The two priests in my parish are very kind, caring and hard working. I think you just love the seedier, gossipy side of life because you give us little else. What's the thrill??

    4. Pat, who appointed you the arbiter of other people's morals? Who authorised you to be our moral guardian? Incidentally, you are no John the Baptist! I wonder if you ever seriously have an awareness of your own indiscretions!

    5. There is nothing threating in +Pats letter to the Bishop.

if he which I think +Pat will have then he should give the car registration numbers to the Police and let them deal with it.

However although +Pat does not seem to like the Holy Father can I remind you all the Holy Father's word these guys ordained or going to be ordained are a mortgage on the Church for life.

I have said again and I plead with anyone who know that clergy are doing things wrong or Bishops please copy the Papal Nuncio in all correspondence and also Rome.

This must stop after all they all took vows.

    6. 15:57 & 16:51, don’t shoot the messenger. Is Pat Buckley up at Shaw’s Bridge or pulled into a layby administering oral relief?

These priests have a flagrant disregard for everything the Church is supposed to represent and they are letting down the good priests of Down and Connor, for there are not a few men of integrity and decency, in that diocese.

I fear that poor Noel Treanor is completely out of his depth. The sooner the press publish the better.

  4. Sorry to disillusion you Pat, but promiscuity and homosexuality are inextricably linked (lots of stats. available). Even the majority of those homosexuals in apparently one to one relationships and those who claim ties of 'marriage' admit to having 'open' relationships on a scale way beyond those of heterosexuals. This is because homosexuality is a disorder as the Catechism states and as traditional Christianity has always, until the last couple of decades, universally averred. The truth doesn't change because there exists a few homosexual couples who are 'faithful' and who have anyway usually abandoned promiscuity because of age and the consequent ability to 'pull' strangers.

It's a different question when a phenomena is tapping in a priesthood that is "professing" celibacy.

    2. 1.05. A good observation. I know many gay people - some in long term relationships - but who have an open door policy re: many sexual partners. I've tried to comprehend this liberty they give each other. It baffles me as I've seen many of these men jump from one relationship to another. I've often challenged them but they just say, we're ok with it!! Sexuality and its expression is often a very difficult reality. Clerics too are sometimes challenged by the reality of their sexuality. But the blatant expression publicly of desires or needs cannot be acceptable.

      Delete
    3. I'm sorry but you are totally wrong 1.05 . Promiscuity happens just as much in the heterosexual world . There are sites such as fabswingers adult friend finder that have thousands of straight couples looking random sex . Then there is the dogging scene that's mostly straight couples too . Cottaging you might think is a gay activity but since the creation of sites like grindr and the gay scene in general gay men don't need to do it . In fact cottaging has mostly been a married man's activity . There's is also the bdsm scene which is mostly heterosexual . If you were ever to go into a sex shop you will see sex toys costumes and dvds it is all mostly aimed at the heterosexual comunity the gays have a corner at the bottom of shop . Ile just also add if you open up the the sun newspaper you don't see a naked man on page 3 !

    4. If you condition children to grow up with hetrosexual values what happens homosexual people as they arrive at adulthood?? Well they struggle to know themselves and often end up 'experimenting' to see if its right for them.

So the chicken and egg question... the catechism pushes a hetrosexual agenda onto childhood formation, causes adultescent confusion resulting in experimentation followed by catechism condemnation according to its own values.

So is the catechism wrong to push a heteosexual agenda in the first place??

      Delete
    5. You speak of the catechism as if it were the fifth Gospel.
What is it except JPII’s pet project. It doesn’t confer any authority on a teaching which appears in it i.e. doesnt give to some teaching a status it didn’t have being included in it.

  5. Pat, this priest deserves all that is coming to him. There are indeed several. Are these men stupid? There is a priest in Belfast who doesn’t live in his parish but has alternative living arrangements with a fella a few miles away “up the road”. He parachutes in and out of his parish to do the needful and the secretary runs the place. It’s the talk of the place. For some reason these boyos think they can make up their own rules. The bishop does nothing. It’s shocking. It will take a public explosion. They might hate Pat Buckley but, after Gaynooth, King Puck, “Gorgeous”, Rory Coyle, Eamonn McCamley, etc. they ignore him at their peril. If Noel Trainor doesn’t hear the rumble of the approaching train then he is extremely negligent and foolish.

    6. I am a D&C priest. I do not find Bishop Noel “cold and indifferent”. I was shocked when I heard about this blog today and when I read it. Such a man has no place in the priesthood. He is reckless, out of control and obviously does not care about the scandal he is giving and will give. He may, indeed, need help. However, his behaviour is entirely unacceptable and he needs to be removed from ministry for his own good and the good of others. The same applies to the others - whoever they are. Any priest engaging in this sinful behaviour needs to seriously confront his conscience before God.

  10. Patrick, can you advise or seek legal advice about publishing the names of seminarians and priests on this blog. I am in my early 40s and as a former student of a religious congregation I can attest to the regular parties that turned into orgies with other congregations as recently as the late 90s upto 2007 when I left religious life and priesthood. I have no problem naming such men who are now actively climbing career prelates in waiting to be superiors of their religious orders. I met several of these men in saunas in Dublin, Belfast, London, Rome and in California. Some priests actually left their respective orders and took up sabbatical positions in the US and spent most of their days in bath houses and I met several of them at Folsom Street Fair and in S&M clubs in Berllin.

I was there, I witnessed, I was celibate, I struggled and I left. I now live life with the same integrity I had then.

I have no problem with anybody's orientation but if you hold yourself as celibate - be true to that. If you hold yourself as married be true to that. Have integrity - even when the culture around you is otherwise.

However, as his conduct is also both sinful and a breach of the promises he made to the Church, he should be suspended from his ministry until such time as he has been successfully treated and is able to fulfill his priestly vocation in conformity with the obligations and standards of behaviour it entails. It is unreasonable to expect that Bishop Treanor can monitor and supervise the lifestyle of every priest in his diocese. Lisbreen is mentioned from time to time as though somehow it proves the bishop lives in world apart detached from the people and priests and indifferent to them. It should be said that although he lives at Lisbreen, it is not his house. He does not own it. It has been used as the bishop’s residence for a very long time. It is also used for diocesan business. Statements about luxury food being on offer are not justified where the food in question comes from supermarkets in Belfast used by the general population. Luxury food suggests items such as caviar, white truffles, oysters, pate de foie gras, shark fin soup etc. Those items are not on the menu at Lisbreen. Revelations in the Irish News about millions in the diocese’s bank account demonstrate that its affairs are being prudently managed. The diocese has vast expenses, salaries and payment obligations that must be satisfied monthly, plus it has to accrue sums to meet future known liabilities. If a bishop had £20,000,000 in his personal bank account that would indeed be shocking. But that is not the case. The sums in question do not belong to him. He cannot spend them as he wishes. They are accrued and disbursed according to a budget and used to satisfy financial commitments of the diocese.

  29. You don't indicate the evidence on which your very authoritative statement is based Anon@ 20:48, nor does your Anon handle give any clue as to your position vis a vis the diocese, your knowledge and interest or otherwise in the matter. Some of your comments are self evident. Others are merely your personal opinion, and could possibly be confused with statements of fact.
So perhaps you could tell us more of the evidential basis for what seems like a defence of the bishop. In fact it almost seems like a defensive self justifying statement put out by the bishop's office, ....perhaps one Timmo B? A full statement of the dioceses's income, expenditure, reserves and assets might help clear things up.
