IRISH PRIEST SEX SACRILEGE STORY GOES INTERNATIONAL.

IRISH CHURCH SCANDAL: ‘PRIEST’ DESECRATES ALTAR WITH SODOMITE SEX ACTS

SAINT BARTHOLOMEW'S KILDORRERY

State Police [but not Church officials!] in Ireland investigating the sacrilege

KILDORRERY, Ireland (ChurchMilitant.com) –

The latest scandal to rock the Irish Church involves the desecration of a church by a priest engaging in gay sex on the high altar.

The recent incident happened in St. Bartholomew’s Church in Kildorrery, Ireland. Images obtained by Church Militant show a man dressed as a priest caught engaging in oral sex and other sexual activity with another man laid across the altar in the church.

Anthony Murphy, director of Lumen Fidei Institute, a Catholic lay association in Ireland, told Church Militant, “A profane and wicked attack has taken place and I am surprised the bishop has not closed this church for the investigation to take place especially as there is a possibility that the church will need to be reconsecrated.”

“Dressing as a priest and committing acts of grave depravity on a consecrated altar indicate satanic motivation,” Deacon Nick Donnelly, former website director of EWTN-Great Britain, explained to Church Militant. “It is a vile attack against Our Lord, Holy Mother Church and the sacred priesthood.”

The church is in a wealthy area and is open all day, with parishioners coming and going, thus some conclude either the men enjoyed taking risks and snuck in during its open hours; or otherwise they are staff with ready access to the church and came in after hours.

The diocese has asked Garda (Ireland’s police force) to investigate, while refusing to comment on the specifics of the case in view of “the criminal nature of the alleged incident.” The investigation will look into the accuracy of the photos along with the church where the sacrilege occurred.

A source close to the situation told Church Militant he is asking Bp. William Crean of Cloyne to investigate whether the man disguised in clerical garb is a priest. Suspicions revolve around FATHER XXXXXXX XXXXXX, whose resignation was accepted by Crean last year owing to revelations of alcoholism.

It is alleged that the image involving oral sex was posted on a gay dating app. Two young men, 18 and 19, claim they met this priest through the hook-up site and the priest took them to St. Bartholomew’s for sex.

The allegation, however, remains anonymous and has not yet been verified.

Murphy of Lumen Fidei stressed the connection between the sacrilege and the upcoming abortion referendum, which “highlights the level of satanic activity in Ireland at this time and reveals the urgent need for reparation, penance and prayer.”

“I am extremely disappointed that the Bishops of Ireland have not been more active in leading the faithful in this area and encouraging a spiritual campaign of prayer and sacrifice against the dark forces which now encircle Ireland,” said Murphy. “Our land is in desperate need for courageous bishops to prophetically teach the moral truths of the Church without fear of favour and until they do the evil will continue to spread.”

And Donnelly told Church Militant, “The men who have degraded themselves through these acts of sacrilege have committed a mortal sin, and are in danger of Hell if they die unrepentant.

Catholic priest allegedly a 'prime suspect' as gardai probe images of sex act on church altar

A Catholic priest has allegedly emerged as a prime suspect in a garda probe into images showing two men engaging in sex acts on a church altar.
The images appear to show the men engaging in sexual acts on the altar of a church in Munster.
Yesterday, ‘independent’ bishop Pat Buckley revealed to The Sunday World that he has reported the images to church bosses.
In the photograph, the men can be seen participating in a variety of different acts, both on top of, and adjacent to, the church altar.
Bishop Buckley told The Sunday World that the images originated from a priest, not believed to be attached to the church in question, on a well known website who sent them to another web-user in a bid to solicit him for a sexual rendezvous.
Bishop Buckley, who is publicly gay, says the issue surrounding the images does not relate to the sexuality of the men but rather to the “desecration” of a religious site in this manner.

Both gardai and the diocese yesterday confirmed investigations are underway and the images themselves are now being subjected to forensic examination.
A spokesperson for the diocese told the Sunday World yesterday the diocese reported the alleged incident to gardai as soon as they received the images from bishop Pat Buckley.
“We received a report of an alleged incident at the church which if true was possibly criminal in nature,” the spokesperson said.
“We must now wait until the gardai finish with their investigations as that takes primacy.”
Under the Criminal Law Sexual Offences Act 2017 a person who, in a public place, engages in sexual intercourse is guilty of an offence liable on conviction to a sentence of up to two years in prison.
Speaking yesterday Bishop Buckley told the Sunday World he was shocked at the idea a priest would have involved himself in acts which “clearly constitute a desecration of the altar.”
“I have reported the images to the Catholic Church hierarchy and I am told they have now gone to the gardai,” he said.
Bishop Buckley also questioned whether the church should not be closed pending the outcome of the investigations when it may have to be reconsecrated.
Speaking yesterday, he confirmed the gardai have yet to contact him regarding the origin of the images, but he said he would be willing to do everything he can to help identify the perpetrators.
“I promised the person who passed the images to me anonymity, but I think he might be willing to be interviewed,” Bishop Buckley said.
“In that event I would be willing to travel to Dublin to take part in any meeting between this man and the gardai.”
Bishop Buckley continued: “I believe at present, even if there is a fear an altar has been desecrated in this manner, then they should close the church where it happened so Mass will not be celebrated there until it has been reconsecrated.”

PAT SAYS

This story is getting bigger and no one knows where it will end up.

The US media outright has named a priest.

I am not ready to do that just yet.

Did First Holy Communion take place at the involved church yesterday?

Was that appropriate?

To my mind Willie Crean has handled this affair terribly.

I can only conclude that Crean is not the brightest button on the shirt.

All very, very sad.

    3. 13:40, 10 countries can 'punish' homosexual acts with death; most of them are in the African continent, and the Middle East.

But it is so-called 'Islamic State' that 'punishes' gays by throwing them off tall buildings and/or by them stoning to death. Islamic State isn't a country, but a jihadist movement.

  7. The church Militant are extremists and attack the Church all the time. It will be interesting to hear what Bishop Cream has to say in his letter. The truth is important and essential to make proper conclusions. If the matter reveals that a priest carried out alleged act on the altar, it is an aberration and he deserves to be dismissed immediately. Let's wait until we have full facts.

  8. Well would you look at that. This other website clearly names the priest and (assuming the name is correct) Crean has done the worst thing possible... Crean moved the priest quietly and calculated 23km over the road; within easy access of his partner in crime - but at least supervised because there remains a number of other priests in that parish.

Aside from the priest though; look at Crean; (assuming the named priest is correct) Back are the days of a bishop moving a priest because of an allegation; back are the days of a bishop failing to place the priest in rehabilitate care; back are the days of "handle this secretly" "hush hush lads"; back are the days of pretend nothing happened.

What I'd wonder is did the young lad in the photo get paid off by Crean?

All such questions and realisations all point to the fact that Crean needs to resign and needs to do it quickly. This is not his first mess, but it is the first to become public knowledge. This explains his adverse reactions to publicity.

GO BACK TO KERRY CREAN; Cloyne does not want you and does not need you.

Even Crean himself must wonder by now why he took on the headache of a Bishopric - I'd prefer to quietly go about my parish work any day.

Yes, there are men who should never have been ordained. Do not make sweeping statements implicating all. That's an injustice.

Human failings and sinfulness, yes, but any awful scandal, none. I have been inspired by the majority of men I worked with. Yes, I have sadly known some priests who committed abuse and ruined lives forever. Stop making up figures without clear, intelligent and verifiable facts.

    5. 11:01, the phrase 'sodomite infested priesthood' is offensive because it is blatantly homophobic. The word 'sodomite', apart from its near-universal, anti-biblical usage (it has nothing whatever to do with homosexuality) connotes a distortion of gay people that is nothing more than a violent prejudice.

It should be a hate crime to use that word.

  23. Even a small number of deviants will wreak havoc.

It is a very worrying state of affairs that there seems to be such a prevalence of sexual misconduct reported on this blog - as well as priests and seminarians behaving in a way that is incompatible with their calling.

This incident in Kildorrery is at the very top of the scale of perversion - practically an abomination of desolation. If this man is indeed a priest, how did he fall this deep into the mire of the gutter?

Speculation about whether or not his accomplice was a seminarian is also very perturbing and a few names of Maynooth seminarians have been bandied about in relation to other scandalous scenarios. Some of those names keep featuring on here.

Allowing for the fact of injustice, false accusation, mischief and malice, nevertheless, you would hope that certain bishops would be having earnest “chats”, with certain named seminarians, from various dioceses, to ascertain that they are not, in any way, implicated in these “strange goings on”. Even to the extent of a lie detector test. This is a very grave situation which undermines the Faith.

We need to be sure of the spiritual and moral calibre of the men we are sending into our parishes to minister. Quality not quantity. For example, is Ray Brown going to ordain “Puck” this summer? Sources in Kerry say he definitely is.

A shocking, appalling and deeply disheartening state of affairs for the majority of good priests who are doing their best to hold things together.

Are they trying to keep people from enjoying themselves,
Anyways most go to cemetery Sunday under duress. Not out of respect for their dead loved ones.
How did we live before cemetery Sunday
And what about our forebears who are in mixed Christian graveyard?
When do they get a blessing?Taking those buried at Clogher Cathedral

  36. @ 14:56, nobody is forcing you to go. Membership of the Church is voluntary, there are no slaves. Moaners should just walk away and that would strengthen the Church for those who remain. Many so-called Catholics need to sit down and write a list of Church teachings and put Y or N beside each one. At the end they should seriously ask themselves as to why they are so anxious to call themselves Catholics when the deny so much of the Faith.

  43. A message to Wm Crean;
    Dear Bill,
You will no doubt be reading this blog and thinking, why did I ever agree to be a bishop? This is no doubt in part caused by your inadequate response to the current situation.

    A suitable alternative response would be to write back to +Pat along the following lines;

    Dear +Pat,

Thank you for your corrispondance. I am horrified by the content and have made referrals for appropriate investigations. As a consequence I cannot comment on the content.

Nevertheless, while I have yet to confirm that the location is in Kildorrery I think it appropriate to reassure the people of Cloyne given the publicity attached. As a precaution I shall reconsecrate the parish church - even though the location is not confirmed I hope such an action will comfort the flock of Kildorrery parish.

It is right that I know of such allegations and I welcome any allegation so that I may make appropriate response.

    In Christian solititude
    +Bill.

Think about it Bill. Your current strategy is questionable.

    3. 17.45: Firstly, corrections - "CORRESPONDENCE" - and - "SOLICITUDE" - not as you spelled them! Secondly, Bishop Crean is not answerable to Pat Buckley. This matter is a serious, civil disorder and of a gross act public indecency, so the Gardai are the relevant authorities to investigate. Thirdly, as you know, when any issue is under civil scrutiny and investigation by the Gardai, no one who is a named individual(s) is permitted to offer opinion or pre-empt any findings with a public judgment. All evidence must first be gathered, analysed and scientifically probed before a full assessment is made. The content of your letter is superfluous to the on going investigation. Bishop Crean, I'm sure would like to be able to make a public statement but his legal advice given to him is normal in any similar investigation - and the law must be respected.

      Delete
    4. How is that irrelevant you idiot? Its about the subject of the post.

    9. 19.51, are you mad?? - fair enough the poster had two spelling errors but the essential point remains that if Crean had the common courtesy to reply to +Pat than he could contain the bad publicity a lot better. Crean's bad manners have made the situation worse for Cloyne.

@19.32 nobody said Crean is answerabld to +Pat, but manners suggest that we acknowledge letters.
