Mother Teresa charity 'sold babies' born to unwed mothers
A nun and a staff member at Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity were arrested today.

thejournal.ie
A NUN AND a staff member at Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity in eastern India were arrested today for allegedly selling babies born to unwed mothers, police said.
The pair were arrested from the grounds of one of the offices of the charity in Jharkhand on charges of child trafficking, police in the state capital Ranchi said.
The women could face up to five years in prison for selling a baby boy from the institution founded by the Nobel laureate, which cares for unwed pregnant women and mothers in distress.
Police said the infant was sold to a family in neighbouring Uttar Pradesh state for $1,700 by the two suspects.
They could face more charges as investigations widen into the illegal adoption scam, said Ranchi senior superintendent Aneesh Gupta.
“The women have admitted to four more such cases which we are in the process of verifying. The families which bought the babies are also under our radar and will face action,” he told AFP.
Authorities grew suspicious after the state’s Child Welfare Committee discovered a newborn boy was missing from the centre last week.
Nuns at the charity told police that the boy’s mother had taken the child away, said Ranchi inspector general Ashish Batra.
“However, on being contacted, the mother said that she did not have the baby with her,” Batra said.
The hospitals where the children were delivered will also be investigated, police said.
Mother Teresa was a missionary nun who became a global symbol of compassion but she was also a controversial and divisive figure.
She remained fervently opposed to birth control and abortion, describing the latter as “direct murder by the mother herself” in her Nobel acceptance speech.

Mother Teresa, who was 87 when she died in 1997, was buried in Kolkata in eastern India, where Missionaries of Charity is headquartered.

PAT SAYS:

Mother Teresa MAY (???) have believed in what she was saying and doing, but to my mind, she had a very twisted theology and spirituality.

She seems to have worshipped suffering.

Suffering is evil and it should be relieved everywhere it can be.

There are sufferings in life that cannot be relieved - and there is much scope for spiritualizing this type of suffering.

Mother Teresa preferred to send sick people and babies to heaven rather than to the hospital!

She liked to hang around in the homes and jets of rich dictators and she took every opportunity to lick the ass of John Pole and members of the Church hierarchy.

The corrupt RC Church institution used her for money and "good" propaganda.

If you want a glimpse into the real Teresa read the book below by one of her former nuns who was and is a doctor.

  3. Yes, the institutional Roman Catholic Church (or, at least, its demonic spirit) was manifest in that perverse religious order.

The nun appointed by Mother Theresa to succeed her, Sr Mary Nirmala, like Theresa herself, was a sadist. On one occasion a reporter interviewed Nirmala about how a number of young, poor children (who were attending a school run by this order and who had been suspected of theft) had been dealt with. A senior sister of 'charity' had lined up the children before heating a metal knife on a stove. She then cooly, calmly, and methodically seared each child on the hand in turn. Mother Nirmala's response? That the children were being taught respect for God.

These sick bitches learned this twisted 'spirituality' (the idolisation of suffering) from the sickest bitch of all, Unholy Mother Theresa. No surprise, then, that she was well favoured by the equally twisted, fatheaded Pole, the Unholy JP II.

I truly don't understand why Catholics continue to support financially these monsters, and their handiwork, the institutional Roman Cathoic Church.

Mother Theresa even took 'donations' (around 1 million dollars) from an American who was later convicted of stealing funds from the life savings of fellow elderly Americans; the order did NOT return the money, even though it knew that all, or most, of it had been stolen.

I hope the Polish fathead, and his favouite nun, are together in the afterlife, right where they truly belong.😈

  5. Pat, I'm a young man contemplating the priesthood. In this day and age, I am fully aware that the priesthood has its challenges - some of which are created by its very own doing. Nonetheless, I have a deep burning within me to join Christ's priesthood. What advice - if any - would you, or any other blog reader, give me. Many thanks in advance!

The tragedy is that both dioceses and religious orders are now full of sexually active, promiscuous men.

I do not know your orientation, and it does not matter.

If you pursue your vocation prepare to be seduced!

      Delete
    5. Young man: I suspect your 'deep burning' is basically an altruistic wish to do good, and that brought up in a religiously inclined background of observance and respect for religious practices and the clerical ministers of these practices, being what some refer to as a 'cradle catholic', you are simply instinctively inclined toward 'doing your good' within the ambit of what is most familiar to you: the RC church.
If I may interpret 'young man' as being one relatively inexperienced then if that is the case, I would urge you to consider other avenues for your commendable altruism. Seek initially a professional qualification within the care sector: nursing, social work, medicine etc, meanwhile studying the nature and role of religion.
If you follow this path, and have a vocation for religious practice it will endure and you will enter your training as a well grounded individual unlikely to be negatively influenced or damaged. But if you then find it is not for you, then at least you have a sound profession to fall back on rather than 'plough on' swayed by a lack of a viable alternative.
And good luck whatever you choose.

Do you approve of BDSM and drugs in Maynooth?

    2. No one approves of those things and they should be directly addressed and eradicated - not by the innuendo and nudge nudge wink wink you engage in - but by ruthless public exposure.

If these things are true, those responsible should be identified and exposed for what they are. If it’s true, they won’t have a leg to stand on.

For you, however, it’s a “Never ending Story”, a ceaseless merry go round that goes on and on and on.

Because with you there is a whole other agenda and - if you’re spiritual director was worth his/her salt - and if your going to Confession was genuine - both he/she and you, would properly face the deep motivating darkness in your own heart, Pat.

  19. 12.58: Pat, there is the gospel concept of "metanoia" and perhaps Fr. Jones has engaged with it. Why not, with some decency, allow him the space and freedom to live his vocation? Think about his parents and family.I think it's a moral cruelty to harass, insinuate ulterior motives to him and judge him so harshly. Give him the "spiritual kindness" of a 2nd/3rd chance to begin afresh, as Jesus allowed all who came to him, even sinners. Stop the personal onslaught. You are too selective in your gospel reading - if any at all! I struggle with my personal failings, sins and living Priesthood to the full and the last thing I'd want in my efforts to walk in God's ways is the voice of the nasty critic telling me I'm useless and worthless and have people constantly say "watch this space". Often we find God through our wayward and crooked ways. God's grace is a gift - free for all.

    1. If Jones experienced metanoia, then he would have experienced also wisdom...the wisdom to realise that his ordination would lacerate and divide the Body of Christ. The fact that he stubhornly presented himself for ordination regardless, despite grave disquiet, demonstrates that he acted from self-interest, affirmation that he experienced no such thing as metanoia.

This attack is absolutely outrageous. I recall reading about a wealthy Englishman who happened to be in Calcutta and went to try to meet Mother Teresa. He succeeded and said that he wished to help her work (he meant money) but she thanked him and took him to a nun who showed him a bed-space and asked him to wash some nappies. He was introduced to the abandoned and asked to hold one or two of them because the nuns were so busy seeing to their physical needs that they didn't have much time to give them physical contact. He spent several days holding babies before he left and said that he knew that he had done something small but necessary. He was immensely impressed with the nuns brothers and with Mother Teresa. Of course many people are 'out to get' her reputation, don't believe everything that you read.
