THREE DEAD AND ONE IN HOSPITAL OVER ARMAGH SEXUAL ABUSE

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

THREE MEN IN THEIR FORTIES TOOK THEIR OWN LIVES LAST YEAR IN A COUNTY LOUTH PARISH LAST YEAR BECAUSE THEY WERE SEXUALLY ABUSED BY AN ARMAGH PRIEST.

ANOTHER IS CURRENTLY RECEIVING TREATMENT IN A SPECIAL UNIT FOR THE UMPTEEN TIME BECAUSE THE SAME PRIEST SEXUALLY ABUSED HIM.

This priest is STILL IN PARISH MINISTRY despite the fact that he has been sexually abusing boys for many decades - and the abuse is known to Eamaon Martin, Sean Brady and the priests of Armagh.

The priest is being protected because he has THE DIRT on many other Armagh priests - including Eamon Martin and Sean Brady.

He is also very powerful within the diocese and feared by many.

This priest deliberately targetted the sone of wealthy families - believing that those families would not want their respectable reputations damaged by going to the police, the press or to the courts.

However, in the past few weeks, that has changed and the family of one of the men has launched a case against Armagh, Martin, and Brady.

This family cannot and will not be bought off by an offer of money from Eamon Martin.

PAT SAYS:

This is one of the serious abuse situations in Ireland today.

A priest abusing all his life, and maybe still at it.

Three young men dead.

One in hospital after multiple admissions.

A cardinal, an archbishop and a diocese full of priests keeping it hidden.

BILL Mulvihill being persecuted for flagging it up.

The Gardai in Louth apparently doing nothing.

I thought that we had stopped all this.

I thought that covering up like this had stopped.

Is Amy Martin the new generation of covering up bishops?

What do readers think of this?

Nothing changes. They try to appear that they have changed, but the roman catholic church is just pure vile, disgusting, and criminals of the highest order.

When will people learn, that these scumbag bishops and cardinals do not care about them, and just leave the church.

What are you staying for? The incense? The candles? The vestments?

Yes, there is their faith, but you can say your rosaries, prayers, and live your faith without this pervert ridden crime gang, with their leader Papa Frankie and his minions in Rome controlling you.

Sorry to be harsh, but my patience has finally snapped.

No! why should we leave The Church? it is these evil perverted clerics who should leave or be dismissed if all these allegations are true.
An Garda Siochana must act as well as the Ecclesiastical Authorities, they have to be punished, and we have to be rid of them.

I would like to thank the majority of the clergy who silently and for the love of God go about their priestly duties bringing us The Sacraments and serving us. We never hear of all these good men, we only hear of The Dross who have let us all down especially their fellow priests. Thank you Reverend Fathers, God Bless You. Eviva Maria!

You and most of the people on this blog will on their dying bed will send for Our Holy priests who have great service to Our Lord.

You and some of the others on here were asked or kicked out from the seminary but were NOT excluded from the Church sadly the drink and the hatred has taken over.

    5. 17:30 Mother Church is anything but holy; in point of incontrovertible fact, she's an incorrigible, rancid w***e, corrupting others and leading them away from Christ. And Pope Francis, that oily Latino, is her chief PIMP. This pimp has done at least one morally good thing in his utterly USELESS life as a so-called 'priest': he has ordered a revision of that unholy book, 'The Catechism of the Catholic Church', to make the death penalty morally inadmissable in any and all circumstances. This proves that sucessive magisteria of the Roman w***e got it wrong, for centuries, on such a fundamental principle of moral theology, because this w***e has nearly always supported the death penalty.

  3. Pat, utterly shocking. This revelation is a demonstration of why your work is so valuable. The most disturbing part is " and maybe still at it."
Why not name him? There may be risk, but at least it might stop whatever abuse which may be ongoing. I can't believe that you would know the name and allow the abuse to continue. I guess you have a judgement call to make, based on your confidence in your inside information. I hope you make the right call.

  7. + Pat: if there is any substance in this account, then surely the Gardai would be all over it ? I cannot believe that serious abuse of any kind would take place without the authorities being involved ? Under present legislation, certainly where I live, the church authorities would have to report to the police and statutory authorities abuse that has taken place ? So why have the police not taken this forward if the abuse is so serious ?

Also, a prudent bishop would want to take action if there were credible accusations, and remove a priest from ministry pro tem unit such time as things were investigated. So, why has this not happened in the case of this priest ?

Surely the + Eamon would not be so dim or stupid to ignore serious accusations against one of his priests ?

Or are you imagining this ? Or over egging it ?

Specifics would help to clarify the situation. Some facts. Some names.

I want to give you the benefit of the doubt, really. I think you tend to bring things to the light in general.

I'm quite sure the relevant authorities know about these abuses. They should investigate thoroughly. It is very wrong to insinuate motives to another person's death without full medical clun7cal data. If these men died in tragic circumstances their perpetrator should be brought to justice. I pray for them and their families but it is not right to use their deaths for your vainglorious, vindictive agenda. Let TRUTH be told and expressed before we make a final determination.

Because Mulvihill didn't get his own way, didn't think his skills were appreciated and Eamon didn't promote him or grant him a title. The Gardai will want to know why Bill has withheld this info until now and it wouldn't stand up in Court because it was done out of vengeance on Bills part not out of concern for victims. This would have been headline news today but it hasn't- ask yourselves why ......?

Why? Quinn has the dirt on so many.

This is a classic case of the establishment closing ranks.

Bill was, is and will be the whistle blowers.

He has also been ministering to at least one victim and his family.

STOP enabling abuse and cover up.

      Delete
    2. If this is TRUE today then they must be two resignations sent to Rome immediately as this is worse than Kitty O'Brien her so called victims are still Priests in Edinburgh and other parishes.

Brady MUST go before the Pope arrives this is going to over shadow his visit but Eamon maybe be safe as he has inherited it but most likely an Apostolic Administrator maybe appointed to clean up Armagh.

Surely the Police is responsible to the Politicians and they should be asking questions it is NEVER too late.

It looks more like gossip than facts but very serious indeed and Pat says he keeps Rome and the Nuncio informed sadly not as Brady would have well gone and treated like Kitty and McCarrick.

This is Far to serious and needs sorted now and not to protect the Pope but to protect the Clergy and lay faithful of Ireland.

Today an auxiliary Bishop in Dublin is being buried after faithful service and 1 Archbishop, Nuncio, and 4 Bishops shocking yet they will all turn out at Meath in September.

KOB can rest in peace knowing that her " friends" were willing players and still are players yet Brady and Martin have this on their hands.

But the thing everyone is asking is it true now we have Cardinal, Bishops and Police involved.

  22. Pretty soul destroying set of events and circumstances that brought about three young men feeling the inner need to end their lives as the only solution to their pain.

We have the Garda of whom are there to protect doing absolutely nothing as means of investigative and bringing those responsible to justice for these inhumane crimes.

Bill has to be commended for bringing this to light but once you speak up in any establishment (Especially an establishment with things to hide) you are gone and it leaves you as the whistle blower feeling rather isolated and lonely, as if you were the wrong doer as opposed to the one who lifted the lid on the truth in an establishment of warped members and corrupt so called leaders.

Quite akin to the Garda then as how does an establishment credibly investigate itself?

Hence the Garda aren't bothering because they can't be trusted either via their own corruptive tendancies and history.

Let's hope Drew Harris gets peace and support to clean them up sufficiently.

Why was Eamonn Martin not given Derry? He wasn't wanted, the Diocesan clergy couldn't agree either who would succeed Hegarty and that's when McKeown was drafted in as an outsider.

Eamonn must have thought he had reached the pinnacle of his career when Armagh came along and little did the camp career geared man realise what he was inheriting and having to deal with down the track.

He inevitably knows now and there is a fair chance it will be bye bye Bill as opposed to bye bye Eamonn.

Look how Garda McCabe was treated after lifting the lid on corruption and cover ups? The man was discredited the country over by those that were trying anything they could inclusive of damaging lies to silence him.

Bill you are to be commended with admiration but the road will be a rocky one as rank begins to pull and close on you not only by the so called big chiefs but by some colleagues that you only thought you knew and trusted.

  44. Please William...do not demean other posters...you have no idea who posts here.
It’s not good to attack others intellect...we have no idea why the Croatian police behaved like this.
Were you drunk at the time?...sounds like you were on route to Medjugoria.
I’ve just posted here for the first time today.
Pat ...what are the bishops doing about this blog?....are they just singing dumb?..,because the rest of us,the laity, certainly aren’t..

  45. *My comment is written without prejudice to today's blog's allegations. I have no way of judging their veracity.

Cardinal McCarrick could only do what he is alleged to have done with the collaboration of others. If true, then it is obvious that, members of the clergy and others, willingly turned a blind eye, out of loyalty, fear, malice, who knows, but without their assistance, the alleged incidents could not have taken place and continued, and he could not have climbed up to such a high position in the hierarchy.

Have the hierarchy learned nothing? Silence, covering-up, and exiling whistleblowers doesn't work in the long term. The reputation of the Church would still be intact if those who perpetrated crimes and immoral acts were ousted.

Unfortunately, in Ireland, the hierarchy still think that the Church has a reputation to uphold. Are they crazy? Eamonn Martin thinks that a Papal visit will bring people back to the Church, really Your Grace? People have left the Church because bishops and priests have let them down with their lies and deception, and with their watered-down people-pleasing version of Catholicism.

In the past few years the hierarchy have again supported Maynooth and ignored the allegations made by seminarians. They have expelled good men who tried to tell them the truth. Time and time again you back a rotten system which ultimately leads to decay. Rotten seminaries lead to rotten parishes, lead to rotten dioceses. Stop the rot at source!

Stop covering-up! Clean up the Church, oust the false-shepherds and then you can start to renew the Church. Only then will people be attracted back. If you're not willing to do this, then pack up and leave!

    1. There's a lot more to the Maynooth story and it extends much further than Maynooth.

Why were active homosexuals protected and the whistleblowers thrown out? Who's protecting who? Who's got dirt on who?

    Where is Cardinal Law now?
Pat, what is going on, why are the bosses in Armagh allowing this.
Is monisterboyce in the Armagh dioceses as well as Louth?
Is that accused priest still in a parish...or has he fled?

      did he get jail?
      Or was his coverupping criticised?
Or was all glossed over..as is usual in Armagh

  49. Pat your using and abusing a very disturbed man with serious mental health problems for your own gains!
This poor man is very unwell at this time and has been for a number of years now.
Please please desist from this kind of behaviour, it's hard enough for Bill's immediate family never mind us parishioners.

    Monasterboice parishioners.

  50. Why total silence from the two Archbishops and the Nuncio.

Surely if not true the Churches Legal people will be all over this as it is serious as we have these two Priests in Parishes.
One the Accuser and the other who does not seen to want to defend himself.

Come on Quinn and Mulvihill lets get it sorted out.

Ireland will be on a World Stage in a few weeks lets get it sorted.

Cardinal O'Brien caused disgrace when Pope Francis was being elected surely Sean Brady and the Two Martin's are not going to cause disgrace on the Church.

    Their silence is deafening....

  51. It does appear that Fr Mulvihill’s post are becoming increasingly more unhinged. That’s not to say that there isn’t any veracity to what he claims.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Oh dear after reading today's blog and comments it's clear Fr Mulvihill needs prayers Pat as you say yourself. He also needs help from the way he has belittled those on here today who asked genuine questions or took a differing view from him. I'm sorry to say that I very much doubt what Fr Mulvihill has to say. In terms of him saying Israel is his friend and will defend him- his credibility went out the window for me.

  53. Pat, is Bill right in the head? Every message seems rather unhinged.

    ReplyDelete
  54. You need to be unhinged to even consider becoming a priest in Ireland

    ReplyDelete
  55. Unhinged, delusional and paranoid spring to mind reading Bill’s posts. He is very clearly not in his right mind - in the grip of a pathology even. Is he hearing voices? Is he drinking heavily? Seriously. He needs help and very quickly.

  56. This blog is now descending into a disgusting triade.
Are posters suggesting that just because a poster...Bill... in this case..has mental health issues..his posts are to be dismissed.
How low can some on here sink...obviously some people know absolutely nothing about stress issues....shame on you who call him.
I don’t know the man,but I believe after reading his posts that he types the truth.

  58. Pat you and this blog's reputation are now questionable after your behaviour in the last few days. You were warned several times not to encourage Mulvihill and as usual you were too proud to listen. I myself said days ago that you were giving Bill sufficient rope and it's all ended in tears. You must take collective responsibility for your actions regarding Bill and I suggest this blog now takes a rest for a number of days to do much needed reflection.

    1. 18.05: I agree. Pat's integrity and supposed moral probity are defunct - a long time ago, along with his supposed spiritual renewal. Pat is using/abusing sick people in a selfish, damaging way. These people will regret his intervention in their lives. They are being used.

  59. BILL MULVIHILL

I hope Bill will not mind me saying the following:

I have spent quality time with Bill very recently.

With 42 years pastoral experience, with a particular interest in mental health, I do not believe that Bill has mental health problem.

Apart from his own issues with Eamon Martin, Bill is very angry at the abuse cover up in Armagh.

He is also angry with Diarmuid Martin over the way Dermuid treated a priest friend of his.

As for alcohol Bill and I had drinks together. He may be drinking extra as a painkiller for his troubles.

  60. The reaction of some on this blog proves the following article true:
"Organizations demonize whistleblowers, leaving some suicidal in an attempt to paint them as mentally ill and discredit their claims, new research shows."

...... "The stigma surrounding mental illness can be used as a weapon intended to defame and neutralize a person who discloses wrongdoing, with the process of whistleblowing only intensifying the likelihood of experiencing such negative health effects."

“The mental health of litigants can be used by organizations in defending allegations and can result in diverting attention away from the seriousness of the disclosure and discrediting the whistleblower."

  61. 18.05 I think you are mistaken that this blog should take a few days reflection.
Well the one who should take reflection is Eamon Martin for a Archbishop to give a man with mental health problems an appointment in September is shocking Eamon Martin should have cleared his diary and seen father Mulvihill and does anyone in Armagh know what Eamon Martin does and what his diary is like No NO it is a secret No Archbishops appointment has he something to hide.

The people of Ireland need this blog and well done to Pat for having it as we the Church in Ireland need these priests and Seminarians OUT and OUT now if they are not living a chaste life and more so the clergy.
