DEACON SEAN "KING PUCK" JONES HAS BEEN LYING VERY LOW IN KERRY SINCE THE LAST GREAT MAYNOOTH SCANDAL.
BUT A KERRY READER BROUGHT OUR ATTENTION TO THE FACT THAT HE BEEN TAKING PART IN FUNERAL CEREMONIES IN KERRY DURING THE MONTH OF MARCH.
THE KERRYMAN newspaper reports:
"The death took place on Tuesday, March 13 of Xxxxx Xxxxxxxx. Xxxx, died at University Hospital, Kerry. Her remains reposed at St. Mary’s Funeral Home on Thursday and were received at St. Mary’s Church by Deacon Sean Jones and Fr. PΓ‘draig Kennelly".
Readers will remember that Deacon Jones was initially placed by Bishop Ray Brown in Listowel Parish as a deacon.
While he was in Listowel he is reported to have visits from some old Maynooth friends like Father Chris Derwin.
The recent events in Prague and Maynooth mentioned on this Blog in the last few days connect friends of King Puck to the happenings?
Deacon Jones was quickly moved from Listowel to Killarney Cathedral.
But there was no trace of him on the Cathedral website?
According to the above death notice, he was working in the Parish of Ballylongford in Kerry.
But there is no sign of him on the Ballylongford Parish website.
The Kerry Diocesan website names all the deacons of the diocese:
Deacons

Rev. Jean Yves Letanneur, Tahilla, Sneem, Co. Kerry
Rev. Conor Bradley, Laharn, Milltown, Co. Kerry

Rev. Thady O Connor , Kilcummin
Rev. Pat Coffey, Killorglin.

The Kerry Diocesan website names all the deacons of the diocese - but no JONES!
And if you type JONES into the Kerry diocesan website search engine - NO JONES!
Its as if Deacon Jones is a member of the Secret Service.
His name cannot be mentioned.
I wonder what Ray Browne's plan is for him???
-----------------------------------------------------------------
I can't believe there is still a plan to ordain this man.π¨
ReplyDelete(Well, actually I can, sadly. No wonder I refer to the institutional Roman Catholic Church as a... . Oh, you lot! You took the word right outta my mouth. Tch! π)
Magna, I’m telling your ma that you were on that internet again last night after your curfew.
Delete11:52, y'needn't bother, tell-tale-titty-mouse! I cudn't get on it cos the oul bitch spent half the night luckin' fer cut-price vadka. It didn't matter t' her that the stuff she foun was prabably laced with antifreeze!π
DeleteMagna Carta! Yer grounded the night again ya wee cat! I’ll be up to that attic of yours with my slipper as soon as I catch my breath after cutting yer da’s toenails! Yer aul long suffering afflicted ma.
DeleteRay is planning to ordain the Rev. Sean Jones this summer. Leave him alone.
ReplyDeleteBefore the papal visit? Is that wise?
DeleteWhy should Jones be left alone? By all accounts, it seems he wouldn't leave others alone.
DeleteHe is not fit for ordination. Heck! On second thought, he is precisely fitted for ordination, given the debauched state and nature of Roman Catholic priesthood today.π
I really hate that photo. What on earth possessed him?!
ReplyDeleteHis misplaced vanity, I suspect.π
DeleteWho would find that photo attractive?
DeleteThat awful photo. He probably calls himself a "bear" on his Grindr profile, which is another name for "fat".
ReplyDeleteIt would appear that he's turned into a permanent deacon.
Pat I'm hearing rumnors from my fellow Seminarians that there is a gay sauna network. What next Pat after the grindr and sliver daddies scandal im in shock. Pat i dont think my vocation can stick Maynooth. I dont want the blue boy seminarians to force me to subscribe to the sauna network membership.
ReplyDelete07.30: I Don't for a moment believe you are a seminarians. I'm very suspicious. Your prose is awful and I'm certain too that's if you are true, that you must be able to speak with an adviser at the seminary. Speaking about being forced to join a club is incredulous. Are you a small boy, just out of primary school? Go to your bishop.
DeleteSounds strange. Is rev Jones in big brother house for assessment
ReplyDeletePat the exclusive membership is for three saunas Prague Sauna Babylonia , rome Apollion and Temple Bar Boiler hse these are all connected to Puck and his crew.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget 'Chariots' two-for-one deals for the older priestly crew.
DeleteI wonder does Fr Fanny know the extent of the sauna membership club one staff priest is in it. Wink wink and we all know who the staff priest is.
ReplyDeletePat has any victims of puck or his maynooth co di come forward. There needs to be an enquiry into all these strange goings on.
ReplyDeleteI'm smiling as I look at the two pics on your most recent blogs. Comparing Deacon Jones in his jockstrap with the hot guy in the Prague sauna poster has helped me decide. I think It's Prague for the holidays rather than Kerry!!!
ReplyDeletePat there needs to be support for those young seminarians forced to subscribe to the sauna club. Support by means of std testing, counselling and a redress scheme from Maynooth.
ReplyDeleteStop the ridiculous nonsense about people being "forced" to join any club! For Heaven's sake , haven't they heard the word "No"!
DeleteThe implication of the posts here is that anyone who can say no will be screened out before seminary. I'm hearing that the formators (and in fact the hierarchy) won't want anyone with the guts to point out that the emperor is nude.
DeleteAs for the question about an erection during Mass - that should be the sure sign to the seminarian to get the hell out of there.
If a candidate asked that question I think the formators should be sending him off until he'd grown up a bit.
Pat if a Seminarian is forced to join this sauna club surely that is intentional grooming. Action must be taken against those predators.
ReplyDeleteSean 'They Don't Like It Up 'Em' Jones.
ReplyDeleteAnd apparently some don't. Hence the divisions at Maynooth.
The civil authorities have to be notified,
ReplyDeleteThe treatment of Puck, Gorgeous, Gannon, Marshall, Hickey and Horny Andy is cruel and unchristian. This needs to stop. Do people believe in mercy and forgiveness? Everyone makes mistakes.
ReplyDeleteDon’t you think it’s the moles and snitches who need to stop? But envy and jealousy is an unfortunate feature of gay life in general, not just among seminarians.
DeleteExcept Pat. his prayer every morning: 'oh lord its so hard to be humble, when you're perfect in every way'
DeleteIf Nobody’s perfect I must be nobody.
DeleteArmagh Mary
(((Pat))) who is Hickey ?
Delete??? I do not know anyone called Hickey???
DeleteWould that be Mickey Hickey of Stranocum?
DeleteI haven’t read anything +Pat has said about a mandatory gay sauna membership scheme for the trainees, although nothing would surprise readers about the disgraced Maynooth institution.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing "mandatory 'about it. Waken up, boys. Say NO, THANKS.
DeleteDo Maynooth seminarians obtain a discount for the gay saunas .
ReplyDeleteThis goes beyond seminary council the Trustees must be notified and cordially debrified on the unfolding situation.
ReplyDeletethey only work business hours and letters and emails often get lost.
DeleteA redress scheme must be discussed for those who have suffered either psychological or physical abuse.
ReplyDeleteit's not everyone that gets a 'celebrity' cleric at their funeral
ReplyDeleteBishop Buckley is there any other way I can make a statement without going to Mullaney's independent panel.

ReplyDelete@ 11.05
Delete--And I have a feeling that you are anything but a Jessica Fletcher..
11.05: I believe your observation is probably true. It is disgusting that guys with a vendetta of some kind, perhaps being snubbed after a proposition, and are simply mischief makers. Pat never verifies facts or emails and therefore we get deranged individuals playing recklessly with people's lives. I cannot believe that grown men in their 20's can feel coerced into going to or joining a sauna club. It's incredulous. I think there are too many fools playing dangerously and playing out their sexual fantasies, as Magna is doing and others...
DeletePersonally, I have never heard of a gay sauna having any kind of membership scheme except perhaps a students discount, although I suppose seminarians would qualify as students.
DeleteUsually, you just shuffle along to your chosen sauna with your head down and collar up. Sunglasses are also useful coming out.
12:39, sexual fantasies? Haven't the time, dear. Always at prayer.π
DeletePoor magna is a repressed homosexual. Attempting to pray the gay away. Pat might pay for him to undertake ‘further studies’ in America? Mrs Carta is of limited means #HelpMrsCarta
DeleteIs there a gofundme page?
DeleteI'm offering my pastoral support to Mrs Carta. I had no idea of the great difficulties that woman endures on a daily basis. having to boil your own sons underwear is one thing, but having to endure outbursts of anger from this repression is another. I would gladly support a GoFundMe fundraiser for Mrs. Carta.
DeleteOh how shocking! And there was me thinking my Magna was a healthy, normal boy. Mind you, it would explain why no woman has taken an interest in him since his crush on his violin teacher. I always assumed it was his manner (and the smell) that put them off. But now I know the truth. And I'm even more disappointed he never got to the altar, now I know he's qualified. He always told me he left after a 'misunderstanding' but now I wonder...
DeleteCanon Heartburn, in the name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, please don't! Thon oul bitch's organs are pickled enough.
DeleteShe doesn't need more booze money!
If you don't listen to me, then there is a price to pay: YOU will have to boilwash my smalls for she will be in no fit state to do so.π
Magna! What have I told you about speaking to the clergy with respect?
DeleteNow sit on the naughty step a minute for every year of your life!
Sorry about that, Canon. We won't be hearing from him for some time. What was that about a collection for me?
Magna...You must change to Daz!! I am your local Dazman.. When shall I call and is your line working?
DeleteAll this Magna nonsense is becoming beyond tedious. It will go on all evening/night an hijack the topic being discussed. This Canon Hep is another false poster.
DeleteI've always sworn by Omo. When they stopped selling it here, fortunately I could get my sister who emigrated to Durban to send me a box once a month.
Delete@16:52 how dare you! I'm real and what's more you can see my picture:
http://www.tvcream.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/emery.jpg
Little Magna doesn't like having his picture taken, and I quite see why.
I prefer Persil. It makes my whites whiter than white and keeps my pastel keks bright for I spread them on the bed as an act of homage to Paul Prior, sometime Senior Dean of Maynooth.
DeleteOmo??Great balls of suds! Omo? - It must be a quare while since you put out a wash, missus dear...
DeleteI washed my hair in Persil because it said it was guaranteed "to get the grey out"
DeleteBig mistake, guys, believe me.
Don't, whatever you do, use Vepe, especially if you are a man. The Amazon reviews are classic.
Delete"For when" 18:01
DeleteI imagine that the Bishop of Kerry's thinking in this matter is that Puck has fallen, but out of the fall will come good and that he will be a better priest because of it, someone who knows the pain of being brought low and then lifted up by the grace of .....what a load of shite !
ReplyDeletePuck is still wounded, and will fall again, because he has a pyscho-sexual and emotional life that is not integrated and settled, and which runs directly counter to the vocation he has chosen. There will always be for him compromise, serious compromise, in his life if he is allowed to continue towards ordination. His only hope is a complete change of heart, a conversion, which given the pathology of his condition and situation is very unlikely.
If he wishes to be a gay man, actively, then he cannot be a priest. If he wishes to be a priest, then he cannot be a actively gay man. Simple.
And whichever decision he makes, it will need to be tested, especially the latter if he wishes to go forward for ordination. Don't take his word for it, test it rigorously.
I have nothing against gay men, or gay men who are sexually active. But they must not expect that they can be ordained to the priesthood and carry on with their sexually active lives. To do so is at its foundation a lie, a secret lie, which will gnaw away at their ministry and their credibility. It lacks integrity and honesty. That is not good for anyone.
So, if you want to be a priest, then you must be celibate in the present circumstances, whether you agree with celibacy or not. If you want to compromise, then go somewhere else where you are free to make the compromise. But don't expect me to make all sorts of excuses for you if you get ordained then continue to transgress against your vow of celibacy.
@ 11.13
DeleteHave to say that I fully agree with you.
You are correct.
My jaw was dropping ever more in disbelief at your apparent naivety...until I read: 'What a load of shite!'
DeleteAnd hey presto! My faith in you was restored.π
Well said and here here at 11:13!
DeleteI have lost my trust in you Pat. Choosing what comments to post really shows what you are like and what you stand for.
ReplyDeleteAgree
DeleteI also agree x
DeleteI disagree.

DeleteHow are we girls?
DeleteWe're cool, thanks @ 16.26.Getting one o'my studs re positioned. I must be mad but the summer's comin'in.
DeleteIs the young kerry co di ok, he looked very flushed in the face at break time. Must be his conscience kicking in now.
ReplyDeleteIf this man, Jones, is guilty of this behaviour then he is not fit to be ordained. It shouldn’t be all that difficult either to ascertain what he has been up to.
ReplyDeleteAlso, there is the question of his past behaviour in the Pallotines.
Are parishioners in Kerry aware of this blog?
If Bishop Ray Brown is supporting Jones out of stubbornness against Pat Buckley’s blog he will rue the day. For he will foist another unworthy and dysfunctional self-serving parasite on the faithful. He will answer for that to God Himself.
These episodes of Jones and Byrne and co underline the grave crisis in priestly formation and the rottenness of Maynooth to the core.
You have “formation directors” asking students about erections and what they do with them. That is pure and utter perversion. A man who does that is seriously unfit for his role.
There are also allegations of students being coerced and bullied by staff and fellow students.
An Apostolic Visitation was ordered by the Pope himself and has been fruitless. The report has been buried and Maynooth did not return to health. It is going from bad to worse.
It needs to be closed and the remaining seminarians’ formation put on hold. The staff need to be cleared out - every man jack of them.
Balanced and healthy priests with good pastoral gifts need to be brought together to plan future formation of seminarians that will be according to the mind of Christ and His Church.
The system as it stands is unfit for purpose. It is a haven for men who want to dodge parishes and play perverse games with those entrusted to their care.
It allows students to progress to holy orders who are gravely dysfunctional at many levels - unsuitable spiritually, humanly, emotionally, psychologically and sexually.
It has brought the reputation of Ireland’s national seminary into gravest disrepute, making it an object of ridicule and a total disgrace.
If even half of what is said here is true - and the innuendo - then Maynooth is over. It’s sickness is terminal.
I imagine Maynooth and other seminaries have always been the same, it's just advent of the internet, and a blog like wisecatholic that have put a spoke in their wheel. +Pat must be a terrible thorn in their side. LOL.
DeleteThey couldn't care less what Pat thinks..
Delete"They couldn't care less what Pat thinks"
DeleteReally? You wouldn't say that if you had to listen to Fr Mullaney's rector's talks over the past two years. Telling seminarians to keep away from the blog and threatening legal action against those who bring the college into disrepute by taking to +Pat.
Yeah, right.
DeleteSurely it cannot be impossible to create a system of selection, formation and education of priests that will be delivered by sane, sensible, holy priests in order to produce sane, sensible and holy priests ? Maynooth, and so many other seminaries, seem incapable of doing this.
ReplyDeleteI have had some contact with the Jesuit formation system in England / Ireland / northern Europe, and they seem to have a system that works. It's not overly conservative and controlling, nor is is lax and lese faire. It does seem to be mature and sensible, and produces the results. Why not ask them how it's done ? And no, I am not a Jesuit !
I imagine they would be less successful if they had +Pat monitoring their extramural activities, but he can only do so much.
DeleteYour suggestion makes perfect sense but the only minor flaw is that religion doesn't attract sane or stable people, so it ought to be possible but isn't lol.
DeleteAlso there is gossip about the Jesuits, have no fear
The Jesuits are kaput and in terminal decline. They are now very far removed from the vision of their founder.
DeletePuck bought the jock in a menswear shop in Maynooth. Does this fella actually want to be caught? Is there a thrill attached to the danger and risk taking involved I wonder?
ReplyDeleteNah - he's just buck stupid.
DeleteFanny and Timo are frenemies since their student days. “Friendly”’rivalry as to who gets mitred first. Lol
ReplyDelete"Mitred"?? Are you sure you didn't mean neutered?
DeleteNow we both know that’s not true ;)
ReplyDeleteRc_eire2016
Some people are happier off neutered.. They settle down and read Jane Eyre with a cup o'cocoa. Problem sorted..
DeleteAll directors of formation in Maynooth should have fixed term contracts of three years and should have served in parishes first. There was the crazy situation whereby Paul Prior was a director of formation for 24 hears ie almost the whole of his priesthood and he never served in a parish. That cannot be healthy for him or for Maynooth.
ReplyDeleteAs Marshall would say: GROW UP!!
DeleteMarshall is the one that needs very much to grow up himself. He has a lot to answer for in present day Maynooth. A total bully.
DeleteHe has a lot to answer for his pious, Francis-lite postings on Facebook and Twitter.
DeleteWhat must you do to be refused ordination by our National Seminary/National Disgrace, Maynooth?
Deleteever consider what effects this blog are having on this young mans mental health? is it morally right to make accusations of any kind, without due process. How does today's blog serve the greater good? of whose concern is this? does this impede on your life father Buckley, or the lives of the readers. discuss.
ReplyDeleteThe Blog is about cleansing a d whistle blowing.
DeleteThat is good, if painful, do all.
Pat doesn’t care about the well-being of the people he targets on his blog. His compassion is reserved for people who agree with him.
DeleteI can have compassion for every one.
DeleteBut compassion is not the opposite of truth telling.
But you’re not willing to answer questions on what your compassion towards the targets of your blog concretely looks like. You compassion, like your policy for accepting criticism, seems highly selective.
DeleteTruth is ultimate compassion.
DeleteTurning the other way and ignoring wrong is NOT compassion.
Outside of these nice soy bites, what concrete acts of compassion do you undertake for those you target on your blog? If you have compassion for the people your target on you blog, how exactly does it manifest itself? You maintain that you have compassion for all, so why shape does this take in terms of people you ascribe hurtful names to, for example? That’s assuming you selective criticism policy will be able to accommodate these questions.
Delete17.31: If truth is ultimate compassion, then Pat, you are far from being compassionate because much of your blog is LIES.I'm afraid truth is a casualty on your blog.
DeletePat, 17.31: Oh to be so perfect! But you are delusional, with notions of being something of a prophet. Far from it. You have attributed horrible and sinister motivations to many named individuals, more recently the priest from Stradbally. Knowing you were wrong and unable to verify anything as truthful, except to depend on gossip, you never apologised for slandering his name. You also encouraged an onslaught against a Prison Chaplaincy Team and implicated the governor in wrongdoing, yet you haven't proven the so called "correct"/"truthful" reality since. You cannot confer on yourself a role of judging, condemning and slandering named individuals and neither should you ever believe that what you are doing honours THE SACRED MEMORY OF CHRIST. Doing that requires mercy, compassion, kindness and understanding and most importantly, MORAL, ETHICAL and SPIRITUAL integrity. Now, may I suggest you go and look in the mirror of your soul!!
DeleteIs there a mirror big enough?
Delete@19.36 Father seems annoyed tonight.
DeleteWould you grow up we are all just having a laugh in here.
ReplyDeletePat, I need someone to lead a small Clergy retreat in the highlands of Scotland over the Summer. I heard your retreat last year in Donegal went down very well and your input was well received.
ReplyDeleteIt did go well thank God. The retreatants were a small number of religious and diocesan priests.
Delete@16.11 As one who participated in that retreat in Donegal I rate it first class. It was not the usual boring and stale kind of Clergy retreat one expects to usually find. It was a mixture of refreshing input by Pat, relaxed discussion, laughter and time to explore the great outdoors together. It was helped by good food and very comfortable accommodation arranged by the organisers. You are in for a treat in the beautiful highlands of Scotland if Pat is leading your time away. I am tempted to make contact with Pat so that I could perhaps join you for this retreat. Enjoy!
Delete@14:49, you’re correct.
ReplyDeletePaul Pry-er was a very average “Sem” student (didn’t have enough points in his Leaving Cert to do a degree).
What qualifications has he in Formation? Probably some certificate from California.
No pastoral experience.
And a prurient interest in seminarians’ erections, wet dreams and masturbatory habits!! It’s a sick joke!!
He was sent packing from Rome for his strange antics. You really couldn’t make this stuff up.
But you know, of course, how he was able to swing the cushy posts that cater to his “interests” for a quarter of a century?
None other than the protection and patronage of one Sean Baptist Brady, aka the one time Inquisitor General of Kilmore, aka the “Wounded Healer”!!
100% correct. PP rose without trace thanks to the Wounded Healer.
DeletePP was a totally unremarkable Maynooth semininarian and he was projected by his sponsor, the Wounded Healer. Paul Prior was the the first and only Sem course Dean.
A tactic he learned from his sponsor Niall Ahern was to sit on a higher seat and put literally a spotlight on the seminarian and ask him how often the sem masturbated.
As far as I know, such questions, if allowed, are only appropriate to confessor and spiritual directors.
He asked me, when I was 21, whether I still had wet dreams, how often they occured and whether they were superior to masturbation. Imagine these as formation discussion topics?
DeleteA proper confessor and spiritual director would only discuss something like that if the seminarian raised it and/or was anxious about it. The thing to do, if it is confessed by a penitent, is ABSOLVE it!! What need is there to ask questions except for unsavoury and indecent purposes? Just absolve!
Delete@21:01. There can be only one reason why Prying P asked you about that - to fuel his own fantasies when exercising Pam and the five sisters. Dirty bastard.
DeleteI was behind wee Paul in Maynooth (not literally).
DeleteHe came across as a harmless, prissy, simpering and not particularly bright little pansy, who wouldn’t say boo to a goose. Obviously power went to his head.
Power indeed went to his head. And also to his glans.
DeleteOMO
ReplyDeleteA super.arket manager came across a young male customer emptying the contents of an Omo packet down his trousers.
When challenged by the manager he burst into tears and said:
"I'm sorry. You see I'm an omosexual!
I love this joke, your Grace.
DeleteWell, it is an old one, mumsie, and you ARE old.
DeleteYour ever-devoted,
Magsie-Wagsie π
There's a good boy. Now come and give Mummy a big kiss and run up the wooden hill to Bedfordshire.
DeleteOmophobic
ReplyDeleteThat is all well and good. The Jesuit novices are under much more scrutiny. They live in a very small community with the Novice Master watching their every move. They dont have money to be out drinking or getting up to all sorts. They are very much together all day and even when out doing apostolic work they very seldom go alone. They even holiday together as a group. You only get one week 'at home' per year - again less scope to go on social media or down the pub to have a pint, never mind a sauna.
ReplyDeleteVery different to Diocesan formation.
There is a Dublin seminarian who was also in the Novitiate and is now in Rome for Dublin.
Is Paul Prior hot? I don't know him so just wondering?
ReplyDeleteGo to bed Perv
DeleteAny truth in the rumour that Papa Prionsias is going to lay hands on the Mad Puck Goat in the Phoenix Park?
ReplyDeleteTimo apparently has been telling lads to wager a few €€££ on it with PP (that’s Paddy Power by the way not Paul Pry-er).
In many ways he reminds me of Paul Burrell, royal butler turned florist and Lady Di's "rock".
ReplyDeleteMarshall is on the road to recovery as he has refrained from the gay bars and cruising areas for about two weeks now. Jesus loves him.
ReplyDeletePat a previous comment called for Marshall to grow up. I wish to thank this wise person for their observational skills however out of no disrespect I would go further in saying Marshall needs clinical help like rory coyle. Marshall cannot resit the impulse and drive for blue boy activity. Marshall needs the psychological aid of how to stop acting like he is on a hunt for prey and absoulte pleasure. If Marshall is reading this please understand It's ok medical science cand do wonders these days.
ReplyDelete
