PRIEST ACCUSES ARCHBISHOP MARTIN OF HAVING USED A RENT BOY

DIARMUID MARTIN
A SITTING PARISH PRIEST - FATHER BILL MULVIHILL OF MONASTERBOICE HAS CLAIMED THAT DIARMUID MARTIN ENGAGED THE SERVICES OF A RENT BOY IN FLORENCE, ITALY!

BILL MULVIHILL
Father Mulvihill submitted the following to the blog:

"It has always been recounted by Paul Taylor who was with him that the present Archbishop of Dublin Dermot Martin in his late twenties engaged on this particular day the services of a rent boy in Florence, Italy. Martin did not give as Taylor would say " enough money to the Trick" so the rent boy took his wallet and Alpha Romeo car. It was always told in Melbourne, sometimes in the company of Paddy Monahan and Werner Utri. In Ireland, I heard it many times in the company of Taylor, Paddy Monahan, Paddy Moran and Seamus O Brian. There is a similar story about a pier in DunLerry, A Bootertown priest ( then Cong ), a court sitting in Dublin, the rent boy....was charged not for what had happened but for interfering with a priest saying his Breviary...and was accused of assaulting the priest...Oh, Holy Prelates and Holy Ireland And Hedonistic Florence ( And Rome). Published early for safety reason.. "

Of course, I felt obliged to put the accusation to Diarmuid Martin and give him the right of reply, which is the normal practice.

I wrote:

"Dear Diarmuid,

Fr. Bill Mulvihill has submitted the enclosed comment for publication on my blog:

COMMENT AS ABOVE

I wanted to ask you for your response.

Pat"

Diarmuid Martin responded:

"Story absolutely untrue.  Only source clerical gossip.  Have you spoken with Paul Taylor"?

FATHER PAUL TAYLOR:

PAUL TAYLOR

I was not sure if Paul Taylor would speak to me in spite of the fact that we had been seminarians together in the early 1970s. So I sent this to Diarmuid Martin:

"Diarmuid, I do want to talk to Paul Taylor. Could you get him to call me or ask him to be amenable to a call from me? I need his number and here is mine, 0044 7488 374364.

Pat.

I heard nothing more and later, after Mass, I telephoned Father Paul Taylor who is the parish priest of Celbridge in Co. Kildare.

I was put through to his answering machine and I left him a message telling him what I wanted to speak to him about and to date, he never got back to me.

FATHER PADDY MONAHAN

One of the other priests mentioned by Father Bill was Fr. Paddy Monahan of Dublin who is now retired and who was actually a classmate of mine on Clonliffe Seminary.

PADDY MONAHAN (left) AND MYSELF SEPTEMBER 1970

When I told Father Bill had denied his accusation Bill said:

"All he can do as they all do is deny deny deny. The story is hermetically sealed. Thank you for the copy. Time to bring down the house…and all the blog has been skirting round…rotten to the core".

PAT SAYS:

Bill's allegation against Diarmuid Martin is a very serious allegation and Bill insists that what he says is true.

Diarmuid Martin insists that it is clerical gossip.

Bill says he has further stories about Diarmuid.

I think it puts another cloud over World Meeting of Families 2018.

  4. Is Taylor the one who has Mulvihill's art collection and won't give it back? Has he taken the property of other people as well? I imagine he is very compromised and that's why he can't defend his archbishop. Were he to do that, he'd be inviting a spell in the spotlight himself. What's he doing in the Canaries so often?

Pat, honestly, do you think after listening to his answering machine at some stage today, Paul Taylor is going to sit down, call you back and give full chapter and verse of what happened that day in Italy?

  8. Diarmuid Martin, you have indeed punished clergy in all sorts of ways. You are the biggest hypocrite (living) in Christendom. You have fired priests out and sent others for "treatment". Time to go to Manchester or Washington yourself and take a few more of your Episcopal colleagues with you. You have been a sham since Benelli inducted you and even though the archbishop of Dublin all those years ago tried to get you home, Benelli made sure you stayed !!! Bet Michael Collins whom you threatened to find another diocese or come home is interested in this. You know well what a priest in Rome is !!!!!! You are the Darling of the media with your kind tones about everything. You are a monster for what you have done to the Dublin clergy.
I posit that you have a pathological hatred of priests? I wonder is that a module in the places you Shits send the clergy for " therapy? The lives of the Caesars are in the halfpenny place compared to Catholic Prelates!!!!
Now have a good think about the future...you Shits like to ask the priests to 'Reflect"....you don't look in a pool mind you...you are so ugly, inside and out.
    No Narcissus here!

As I have said before the Current Bishops in the last 5 years have inherited this disease and hopefully get rid of the clergy and seminarians out of our Church.

  22. The US Laity are calling for ALL US bishops and cardinals to resign. They have had enough of these lying prelates who have brought the Church to her knees.

The word from the Vatican is that Pope Francis has ordered Archbishop Charles Scicluna - the same man who headed the highly successful investigation in Chile - to get ready to lead a similar investigation of the US bishops and cardinals. Obviously this will be a massive task, much more extensive than in Chile.

It also appears that more grand jury investigations will be launched across US dioceses which in turn will trigger the implementation of the federal RICO Act (Racketeer Influenced & Corrupt Organisations Act). This 1970 US federal law is designed to break up criminal syndicates engaging in interstate activities. If RICO is implemented against the US church, this would immediately freeze federal funding to the Church, which would then be deprived of hundreds of millions of federal tax dollars.

Pope Francis is about to see his much expressed wish that the church be "poor" become a reality, very soon indeed, and far quicker than he could have ever envisaged.

The Church needs all this to happen as she has become far too worldly, avaricious, lustful and proud. A poor and humble church would also attract far fewer mercenaries to the priesthood who only want an easy life with no moral strictures.

The Divine Axe is poised to swing.Praise be to Jesus Christ.

  24. It was in the 1970's that as a curate Martin went to Rome on pilgrimage. A 'holy' year had been declared by pope paul vi. A chance meeting with the English lanague editor of the Vatican's newspaper, Irish Dominican Lambert Greenen OP, led to Martin getting his first job there. And so began the journey up the greesy poll.
The story I've been always told (by clergy) is as follows: one night in Rome Martin parked in an 'area'. When he returned to his vehicle, or rather to the place it had been parked, he discovered it was stolen. Upon discovering this he needed to report it to the police. Enter Paul Taylor (both of whom were resident in the German College, the Tutionium). Paul, it is alleged, advised Martin not to report to the police the area/street the vehicle was stolen from; it would raise more questions and possibly spell the end of his Vatican career.
We all know of Paul's time 'down under': I suspect this 'knowledge' about Martin makes him feel invincable: there is just one problem. He has told too many people over the years. I don't leave in Dublin and I know about this. It would seem, to quote Martin, there were 'strange goings on' in Rome in his time as well as present day Maynooth.

  36. Just because we are talking about an Archbishop here, and more specifically the "whiter than white" Diarmuid Martin himself, does not mean I intend to disengage my critical thinking faculties and discredit Fr. Bill's statement as "gossip" on first sight.

Many here have assaulted Fr Bill with the usual tactics by trying to characterise him as mentally impaired, etc. As far as I can see, many of the commentators here appear to suffer from psychosis in that their thought processes are drastically impaired as their comments do not reflect the rancid reality that much of the Catholic hierarchy has become.

At this juncture in Church history every bishop and cardinal must come under the spotlight in under to determine whether their well practiced "soundbytes" match their lives, both past and present. These men have been at the helm during a period when hundreds of millions have abandoned the Faith. They all now need to be subjected to intense scrutiny.

    1. Well said: do their well practised soundbytes match the reality of their lives? Finally clerical tryranny is being challenged by the people of God.In the past if you didn’t obey you had to get out and face all the problems of ostracization in a deeply Catholic mafia controlled society. My grandfather in the north of England recalled a visit by a well-fed priest to his desperately poor mother on a Friday and stirring the pot with his walking stick to check for illicit scraps of meat. No doubt she was being punished for being a single parent. It is said Cardinal Wiseman switched to lobster salad during Lent: how were his “flock” subsisting in 19th C London? At least his successor Manning tried to do something for the poor.

This nation is made up of sheep who have not the ability to think and fend for themselves. Maybe it is because of 800 odd years of British oppression? Who knows? This same inability to think is reflected in the horrible, unoriginal, usual whistleblower labels being flung at Fr Bill such as "mad", "alcoholic", "sexual deviancy", etc.

Do people in this country still think that every priest, bishop and cardinal are angels in human form? After all the past and continuing scandals?

    2. Pope Francis' has not the authority to contradict Scripture, Tradition or the perennial teaching of the Church. I believe that he has overstepped the mark with his personal update of the Cathechism. Many of his ramblings in Amoris Laetitiae are also a departure from the true Faith. We have had heretical popes in the past whose erroneous opions were corrected. Pope Francis will be no different. I pray for him every day.

My mother used to ask me when i would come home of an evening ; " Well Bill, did you meet anyone today you liked better than yourself?" I didn't get its import until I was in my thirties ....she identified something really healthy in me though I don't think she liked it !!!! I really like myself...not something shared with a lot of clergy who have taken all the medicine and are very hard on themselves in their interior life....very sad and it brings that grey palour.....

Your encouragement of his idiotic, bizarre behaviour is an abuse. It's very unethical but it suits your vindictive agenda. Just read the wording of Mulvihill's comments. They're the rantings of someone very out of control, of a very sick mind. He may well be very relaxed, humorous - probably the cheap French wine - but he's still very unstable - mentally and emotionally. Stop using/abusing him.

    3. With due respect, Pat, you are neither a medical nor a mental health professional, so you have no real capacity for assessing another's mental fitness. I think, judging solely from the posts on the blog, there are certainly some grounds for concern. It might be that some/much of what he is alleging is based in fact. However, I do think a formal assessment would be advisable for the sake of the individual so that if he is suffering from any kind of mental health issue he would get the treatment he might need.

Sean Brady telephoned one of his Former friends and classmates John O Leary ( a very nasty piece of work) and instructed him to go to the monks and ask prayers that Mulvihill would come to his senses. I was immediately informed of the notice. My people acted immediately. John O Leary left Whitecross because......he got anything he wanted from Brady. Do the staff in Are Coeli remember the unholy row they had over lunch when he was on holidays from America with the religious brother ( lol ). Those boys were the ones playing on the beaches of Formia all those years ago...they were not building sandcastles. Crime. Oh yes the achilles heal of the Bishops Conference is in Italy.
